Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Location
Very basic.
The home is pretty basic with the appearance of modern tastes.
The communication was really good with the property manager. I was a little put off that on our 2nd day, they asked us to take out the trash cans (that held the previous renters trash in it - if it were my own, I’d understand).
While the location is close to downtown, I would say that if I went with one of my girl friends, I wouldn’t have felt safe. But because I was with my law enforcement husband, I wasn’t worried as much. However, one night when we were there, there were 2 gunshots outside. We don’t know if they were shot criminally or recreationally, but based on the neighborhood and that it was 10:30 at night, I’d make my guesses as to which one.
One of the reasons my husband and I choose to stay in a home rather than a hotel is so we can cook some of our meals. While the fridge, dishwasher and stove are all top-notch - there was nothing more than plates, cups and utensils in the kitchen. There were no cooking supplies at all - which begs to question why there is even a stove and lots of cabinets? We didn’t need a lot but a pizza pan, cookie sheet, frying pan and pot would have been really nice. And maybe more than a half roll of paper towel… we also would have liked for there to be some basic cleaning supplies so we could sanitize the counters before and after use.
In regards to cleanliness - for the most part, it was pretty clean. Please put in description the need to bring cooking supplies.
