Mckenzie was super awesome with communicating and making sure I had the best stay. Between the comfortable beds and the quietness of the area I truly enjoyed every moment of my stay
This place was super cute. My family and I really enjoyed staying there. When we got home, my daughter realized that she forgot her laptop. I contacted the owner and she quickly responded and mailed it to us!! We would definitely stay here again

Thank you, Kara! We are so glad you & your family enjoyed your stay!
Host was very nice and friendly. Accommodated our early check-in & late checkout requests, though we end not using the both.
Cabin looks as described and plenty of beds for large groups.
We love staying here. Felt like home away from home. Plenty of room and had everything. All we brought was the food and of course our clothes. Love sitting on the porch in the morning with a cup of coffee listening to the birds and looking at the mountains. We will definitely stay again for sure. The owner was very nice and if we needed anything we could message her.

We will definitely be back. The modern look made it feel like home. Plenty of room and the children loved it. Our dog made him self as well. Very quiet! The property owner was there if we needed anything and very helpful.

Thank you so much Tabatha! We hope you come back and stay again! You were a terrific guest! We are so happy you and your family enjoyed your stay!
We took our church youth group up for a night away. The house was the perfect size for us. The driveway is pretty steep and has a lot of rocks and bumps so make sure you're prepared for that. I will definitely plan to bring them back again in the future.
This property is whimsical. It is old, full of character and interesting items, and beds of every sort. The laundry facilities are wonderful, the kitchen, while one of a kind could use a few new pots and such. We enjoyed our time there, it was very relaxing! If you are looking for a place to chill out and enjoy natures’ beauty, and a fine guitar, tv, and games, this is for you. Make sure to check out the cross from 1828. We are happy we stayed at the Vineyard😊
This older home has been going through some updating. The pics are current. There are lots of beds for a large group. We slept great. There are 2 new TVs with a ton of channels. Wifi is also available which was great, no issues.
Our AWD did not have any trouble with the bumpy street and drive. We really liked the seclusion and still being close to town for supplies.
The hosts were very friendly and helpful with local food and trail recommendations. We had arrived early and the hosts were able to check us in early which was great after all of the traveling.

You were wonderful guests! Easy to communicate with and very tidy. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you come back again!
This place is disgusting. Do not believe the good reviews. When we first walked in, we were immediately hit with a disgusting bug spray/bomb smell. We did a walk through and discovered two rooms with no doors. One of the “bedrooms” doubled as the laundry room and you could barely fit in it. One room had no air conditioner. Three burners out of 4 didn’t work on the stove. The TV in the room with the king bed, bunk bed, day bed, and toddler bed was hanging on the wall by cords, so it could have fell at any moment. There were bugs in the kitchen and bedroom. The oven was so disgusting we couldn’t even use it for the one night we were there. (Booked it for 7 days but we couldn’t stand the smell or the bugs and grime any longer than one night). The counters had duct tape all over them. The fridge didn’t work. The outside was completely trashed. Description said fire pit, and that was a lie. The pictures in the description are totally misleading. We are currently being ignored by the host after requesting a refund. VRBO has tried to contact the host as well and she will not respond to them either. We had to spend additional money on a different place to stay as our party of 9 did not feel safe and could not stand the smell. Please do not stay here for your own safety.

We strongly believe she was trying to get around Vrbo’s cancellation policy (which she agreed to when booked) and tried her best to use false accusations in order to gain a full refund on a reservation she had booked months ago and also never once cancelled her reservation. It was apparent that her friends had also booked a place and miscommunicated during their plans so she chose to go join them and make up things about our cottage attempting to receive a full refund on a reservation she never cancelled.
This House is an Older Home but it has it all. Cozy, Charm, Nature the Big one being able to sleep a lot of people and still have places the parents or single adults can stay. We are already planning our stay in April to be able to go the Pearson's Falls to go play in the Water. This also was the place that when we had to move our date 3 times didn't give any trouble and were so nice. They helped us get dates the kids were out of school and we could match when they were open. Just love this place
We stay at the property for one night before a clogging competition in Columbus. The owner was easy to work with and the accommodations were perfect for us.

We are so happy you all enjoyed your stay! Thank you for booking!
I’m a wife, mother of 2 toddlers, and a real estate agent that loves being a VRBO Host of a meaningful, unique, and beautiful mountain property! I can promise you I provide exceptional hosting!
Why they chose this property
You truly get the best of both worlds if you are searching for a mountain cottage stay! You feel that dreamy isolation without being isolated at all! Easy to get to, beautiful mountain scenery while being conveniently located to nearby stores, restaurants, hiking, swimming, fishing, parks, etc. and just a few minutes away to the interstate or other highways!
What makes this property unique
There is no property that could match up to this property. I’ve never seen anything like it on the real estate market before, especially in this area that has a special place in my heart, my home. This area is also home to all of my family! There is so much to do in this in this special and movie worthy town of Tryon, NC! “The friendliest town in the south.”
