The condo was clean and comfortable. The grounds and pools are beautiful. The condo overlooked the Koi fish pond. A great view of the ocean. We were lucky enough to see whales. There is a grocery store across the street. Also the food trucks next door. A restaurant on site. You can walk on the seawall all the way to Whaler's Village, about 50 minute walk. There is a city bus that you can take to Whaler's, bus stop in front of Kaanapali Shore. Great place for families. Would stay here again.

Perfect place to stay for the price

Centrally located in Kaanapali and right on the beach. The beach was smaller and not the main Kaanapali Beach, but it still worked. The room showed some wear but for the price, it was acceptable. We enjoyed our stay

Loved our stay at 647 Kaanapali Shores

We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay at the resort. The condo was clean, beds are comfortable, kitchen was well stocked (no scissors, though). We were pleasantly surprised that a beach chair and beach umbrella were also available to use. Kitchen cabinets and countertop could use an update, but kitchen was well functioning. Resort is nice and quiet, no people hoarding chairs by the pool. Loved the closeness of a grocery store, food trucks and some restaurants, all within walkin distance. We will be back!

Disappointed in Unit, not in property

Love the property, stayed at many units 10 years. First time in this one & our last. While staff was responsive, Kitchen outdated, grime, mold around sink, filthy cabinets inside, rust and dirty around sink faucet, rusted cooking items (colanders etc). Filthy light above sink. This was all such a disappointment. Bedroom popcorn ceiling had dust hanging from it everywhere. We used ceiling fan but had webs of dust falling on us. Felt unclean. Couch pillow had bird droppings on it. Makes you question the cleaning habits overall. Couch uncomfortable, we used chairs. 2 phones in unit, not plugged in. Why there? Were they meant to be accessible and useable? Clock on table blinking constant - was not set. Minor, but goes to attention to detail. Biggest concern: Bathroom fan not working. Prop Mgr offered to send maintenance. I specifically said we need to agree on date and time. I am not comfortable with someone entering without approval. They came anyway. Said we gave permission – we did not. Our personal belongings were on display, valuables, etc. When a person enters front door, they look directly into bathroom / shower and we were not closing bathroom door during showers due to fan issue. This entire event made me uncomfortable. It was very disappointing. We will continue to visit the property but will not choose this unit & would question staying in a unit managed by the same company.

Our annual anniversary visit.

We have been visiting the Kaanapali Shores (we were married in the old gazebo) since 1996 and, this is possibly the nicest unit we have ever stayed in. The layout has been redone and furnishings have been updated. The owners have seen to all possible needs. Well done! We will be back.

Great location, easy check in. we were on the 6th floor with great views of resort and ocean. Very quiet. cabinets in kitchen need to be replaced. Kitchen fully stocked with lots of dishes pots and pans everything you need. comfortable bed, bathroom shower loved.

Gorgeous Views & Amazing Pools!

We loved this unit it was perfectly situated to get to the beach (direct access) and the pools were so much fun. We loved having a key code to access the rental. We wanted to explore the island but we actually chose to stay here because it was so perfectly relaxing. Why would you want to leave?

Great location and view

The property was as described and in some ways better than the pictures depicted. The location was great, easy to get to and close to other areas in Kaanapali (Whalers Village / Lahaina / Kapalua, etc...) and there were some food trucks and other restaurants within a short walk. There some small ants on the counter throughout the stay which was annoying but otherwise, the property was in good condition with some everyday items we found helpful. It was nice not having to carry a key everywhere (there was a keycode instead). The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was good size. I would stay in this room again and recommend it to others looking for a comfortable, affordable space to enjoy Maui

Condo was nice. Refrigerator was leaning forward and out into dining area. Bed frame legs stick out so when you walk into room you need to be careful not to hit them. Kitchen cabinets and counter needs an update. Bathroom was nice, beautiful shower Over all nice unit was comfortable. Owners via email was easy and responded timely. Beautiful resort, pools, plants, shops and walk paths.
