Escape to Cape Vincent, NY and enjoy this charming 4-bedroom, 1.5-bath cottage on the shores of Lake Ontario. Enjoy lake swims, evenings by the fire pit, or peaceful moments in the rocking chairs overlooking the water. Your perfect lakeside home away from home awaits!

The cottage features a bright, open-concept living room, kitchen, and dining area—perfect for gathering, relaxing, and spending time together. To make your stay easy and comfortable, we provide paper towels and cleaning supplies.

The home offers four inviting bedrooms, with fresh bed sheets provided for all beds:

Bedroom 1 – Master (end of main hallway):
King bed, spacious closet, TV, and two nightstands

Bedroom 2 – Off main hallway:
Queen bed, closet, and nightstand

Bedroom 3 – Adjacent to the living room:
Queen bed with a convenient side table

Bedroom 4 – Porch sleeping area:
Queen bed plus four twin beds, ideal for kids or groups, with two nightstands

You’ll also enjoy a full bathroom off the main hallway and a half bath located on the porch. Towels and essential toiletries—including hand soap, body soap, shampoo, and conditioner—are provided for your convenience, so you can settle in and feel right at home.

The Village of Cape Vincent has everything else you will need to make your vacation complete. From exciting events to shops (grocery, gift) to restaurants to our local brewery, there is something fun for everyone! Take a stroll down main street and soak up the culture of our beautiful small town.

My family and I truly enjoyed our vacation at the Point! The description of the location, spaces, and amenities were spot on. Everything was neat at clean and ready to go on arrival, and the hosts were able accommodate our requests which we greatly appreciated. Great location and well stocked home! Lovely sunsets and fire each night while overlooking the water. Two of the bedrooms were VERY tiny which we did not expect- might have been better for twin bed or bunk beds?Comfy couch and lots to do.

Cozy relaxing retreat.

Although not really close to anything, it had everything we needed. Perfect for a family get away. The adult bedrooms were small, but that was not where we were spending our time. The kids absolutely loved the space and the triple bunk bed in their room. The yard, dock and lake was an endless supply of "treasures" for the kids to find. Very well stocked with supplies. From boogy boards, fishing equipment, games, indoor and outdoor seating and all the necessities needed, it was all there. Super accommodating hosts. Would love to come back and would highly recommend this place.

Best vacay ever!

We rented this lovely home for a family vacation and to celebrate our nephews HS grad. It is the perfect little get-away. Our 10 family members fit perfectly without crowding and we were very comfortable. The Tiki hut was our main living area due to its perfect setting right on the bay. After our first night, my husband said that we WILL be renting this house again! Lots of waterfront, excellent for swimming and kayaking. Even though there are homes on either side, it was super private and we didn’t feel on display at all. All the little extras that were included really made us feel welcome (kayaks, floaties, noodles, firewood, games, camp wood, etc!). Absolutely perfect! The home is well maintained, gorgeously decorated, and supplied. Thank you so much for a memorable vacation in total comfort!

Our stay at this VRBO property was a major letdown. The house was described as lakeside beauty, but the lake entrance and was filthy, and we couldn't even dip our toes in the water. The house itself had a terrible smell, reminiscent of cow manure, and appeared to be in a poor, almost haunted condition. The beds were never made, and the linens and towels were dirty and used. It was such a distressing experience that we wanted to leave immediately. I strongly advise against booking this property; it’s not worth the money or the hassle.

As you know from our communication, we were out of town for the week but had a caretaker in charge of the property. Lake life here is EXQUISITE!

This cottage is exactly as advertised! Easy to find, excellent communication from the host and everything looks just as pictured. Sadly, we were only able to get away for a short stint but sure enough, the cottage allowed us to absolutely maximize our time and enjoyment. The lake was amazing and everything we could have wanted was right there at our finger tips. Two short excursions but beyond that, having brought all our groceries in with us, we stayed put enjoying the water, the firepit and the cozy comfort just steps away from the front door. Thanks Cottage at Baird Point, you really hit the spot!! Did I mention the host was exceptionally kind, because she WAS!

If you want a nice relaxing trip to the lake this place is it!! Private and very clean! decor was incredible all throughout the house. We all had a great time!!
