Our home will give you that Cabin feel that you need to recharge and relax while still keeping in mind your comfort during your stay. It is a quick drive to the Lake and around the activities in South Lake Tahoe. Here you have an option to swim, kayak, cruise on a boat or hike, there is always something to do for everyone to enjoy. Don’t forget the Casino and the shows at night.

Your family and friends can enjoy vacation days in Tahoe in our newly renovated and Spacious cabin with a Bonus Gameroom for all ages.
Our cabin sits on a 0.28 acre lot that offers privacy with a great view of the mountains from our open deck. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 bath, a Game room with arcade, Foosball and a Pool table. It has ample space for every family to stay close and relax and also enjoy some privacy while still within easy drive to restaurants and Casinos.

Our cabin has an inviting open floor plan. The living room, you'll find an electric fireplace to keep you warm and cozy, hardwood floor all over the house. There is 55 inch smart TV in living room and 30 inch smart TV in the Game room. There are natural lights beaming in from all different parts of the cabin that keeps it bright during the day. The dining room has a pine finish table seating up to 6, accompanied by 4 bar stools around the island kitchen counter for additional seating.

There are two bedrooms and one full baths located on the first floor. The first bedroom includes a Full-size bed. The second bedroom has two Twin-size beds perfect for small kids. The master bedroom suite is located on the second floor includes two Queen-size bed, en-suite bathroom with a double vanity, a jetted-tub, and a large walk-in shower.

The open and airy kitchen invites you to cook your favorite meals or make your favorite drinks. Kitchen comes fully supplied with wine glasses, dish ware, pot set, bake set, and utensils. There's a Keurig coffee maker, Cuisinart Drip coffee maker and a blender for your convenience. A starter supply kit includes paper products, some coffee and hand soaps will be provided. You will need to get more other supply for longer stays in the nearest grocery store. We don't supply other toiletries; you will need your own shampoo, etc. We don't provide kitchen basics (foil, oil, nonstick spray, salt, pepper, seasonings, cream, sugar.)

Adults and kids alike will enjoy the game room with a Pool table, Foosball table and Arcade. There is a private deck to enjoy a midnight drink while watching the sunset or gaze at the stars and moon at night. Board games are also an option for your enjoyment. The main deck has a 6 burner gas stove and outdoor dining table with 6 chairs for all your BBQ extravaganzas perfectly placed in the open outdoor overlooking the mountain view.

*Please note that outdoor amenities such as gas grill and patio furniture may not be available during winter months.

HOUSE PARTIES: Absolutely no house parties or unsupervised large student groups are allowed. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, at our discretion. Young people must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. We do not rent to anyone under age 25 and this policy is strictly enforced. If a party is discovered to be taking place in any of our rental units, the entire group will be required to leave. No refunds will be given. If a guest DOES have a party, that guest will be charged for ANY and ALL damages discovered and the same will be reported to the local police department. This is considered fraud and is prosecutable as "defrauding an innkeeper" in the state of CA.

Please plan accordingly with your party about the parking restrictions on the property. Parking restrictions is limited to only (2)two cars on the driveway. All off-street parking in the Tahoe Basin should be on a paved surface only. On-street parking is not prohibited by the Vacation Home Rental Ordinance, but may be restricted due to snow removal in the Tahoe Basin. On-street parking during snow removal activities can result in the vehicle being towed at the owner's expense. Violators will be fined up to $1,000. Code Enforcers will tow your vehicles without notice if you park on the street. It is your responsibility that you comply.

Tower electric fans are in placed throughout to keep you cool during the summer months. PLEASE NOTE: THIS HOME DOES NOT HAVE AIR CONDITIONING (most homes in Tahoe do not have air conditioning, as the summer season is short and mild). Home does have central heat and an electric fireplace to keep you warm in the winter. In the event of a power outage, central heat and the electric fireplace will be INOPERABLE.

ANIMALS: Tahoe is home to bears, coyotes, racoons, ants and mice. It is expected to see these around the property. Bears can be seen outside wandering and extra caution is always necessary. Do not approach bears when seen and ALWAYS keep your car doors locked and free of food. Keep the downstairs bedroom window close as the bear can climb in. DO NOT Leave food unattended outside at the deck.

INSECTS AND WILDLIFE: Please understand you are in the unincorporated area in the City of South Lake Tahoe, and you may occasionally have "uninvited guests" (ants, spiders, flies, bees, etc). Refunds will not be given for visits from these 'uninvited guests'.

ELECTRICITY: Power interruptions and outages may occur at any time. Apalachee Red Cabin cannot guarantee power, heat or electricity in the event of an power outage or interruption and will not provide a refund or credit to Guest in such an event. In the event of a power outage, electric stove, central heat and the electric fireplace will be INOPERABLE. PROPERTY DOES NOT HAVE A GENERATOR. WEATHER: Apalachee Red Cabin will not refund guests for any weather-related conditions and/or issues including but not limited to road conditions, too much or lack of snow, inability to get to property due to weather or flight delays/cancellations, or issues resulting in weather conditions such as power outages, poor air quality (i.e wildfires), vehicle not equipped for extreme/inclement weather, etc.

WINTER WARNING: If you are staying during a snowstorm, note that the local roads are maintained by El Dorado county and snow plows may not show up until 2 days after. Driveway snow removal depends on local roads being plowed. Please check for local weather updates and road closures. VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS: South Lake Tahoe is subject to extreme and inclement weather conditions including snow and ice that may make roads and driveways impassable and dangerous. We strongly encourages guests traveling during winter months to use 4-wheel and all-wheel drive vehicles and/or to carry chains. South Lake Tahoe roads can be difficult to navigate during winter and driveways may be steep. Apalachee Red Cabin will not provide refunds to guests unable to reach the property or to guests needing towing to get to the property.

We strongly recommend obtaining Trip/Cancellation insurance for your trip if your stay is during [winter months], or if you are concerned about possible cancellation.

There is a Ring video door bell cam outside at the front door facing the street and a Ring Floodlight camera facing the driveway to ensure the security of the property and our guests. Cameras record whenever motion is detected.

When accepting the reservation via AirBnB/VRBO, you agree to the rental agreement terms and "house rules".
1. A signed vacation rental agreement is required by the county.
2. Guest must submit a photocopy of government issue identification as part of booking requirements. 3. This property requires a $500 security deposit. It will be collected separately by the property and instructions will be emailed via a secured link to an online form to authorize and schedule the security deposit by putting a hold on the Guest's credit card prior to the arrival date.
