Please Note - This unique home's rental price is currently reduced because part of the seawall has some hurricane damage but as of 6/23 it now has about 50 feet of boardwalk added along the top of the seawall to fish/dock boat/ etc
- You could fish right from the porch but there is now also about 50 feet of boardwalk along the top of the seawall! Crab, Redfish, Catfish, Perch & other fish have been caught on this boardwalk!
- Drive just across the street (1/4 mile) or walk to the beach! several to choose from close by also and none are crowded!
- famous golf courses start about one mile away!
- Grocery/Dollar General (7 minutes away) , ferry boat to Mobile/Dauphin Island (5 minutes), Tacky Jack's on the water (3 minutes), boat rentals, fishing charters, and a full Spa all very close by!
- Fastest WiFi in the area!
- Part of the awesome Ft. Morgan community in Gulf Shores that even has pot luck dinners sometimes on the weekends within a couple miles and on the Bay!
- It is the last home in the back of the subdivision on a corner lot!
- It has one of the best views of Mobile Bay and sunsets!
- This home has 150 feet of private water access to fish, dock your boat, etc.!

Would rent again

It has a few problems like the doors need weather stripping and a hump in the kitchen/dinning room floor. They emailed me the wrong code but I looked on Vrbo and it had the right one. No keys you lock with code and that’s how you get in and out. Over-all I would rent again. Quite neighborhood. We seen some dolphins while we were there.

Relaxing Holiday

Perfect! This was a perfect getaway spot for us, our son and daughter-in-law, and our dogs! Clean, easy access and perfect bay views! Great spot if you enjoy casual walks, relaxing to the sound of the bay waves and great accommodations! We’ll definitely be back!!

Loved the view and relaxing atmosphere

Overall we had a good experience. I read the reviews before we came. As mentioned the outside needs quite a bit of work and can be hazardous, especially for people with balance trouble. Loved the inside of the house and the gorgeous views though. Would have loved to stay longer.

Quiet getaway

Nice older cottage that is a stones throw from the water. My wife and I wanted a quiet place to relax and this was it. The cottage was not fancy but was very clean and had everything we needed. The outside still needs repairs to the seawall and dock but was stated in the listing. I wasn't here for fishing anyway.
