As the Coronavirus pandemic recedes, we understand that guests have new needs and different concerns than in past years. 

Therefore, we have taken these additional steps for the 2020 season:
• Thoroughly disinfecting per CDC’s General Recommendations for Routine Cleaning and Disinfection of Households, once the home has been fully cleaned, with a completed checklist left for the guest.  Homes will also be fully supplied with spray and wipe disinfectants for additional peace of mind so that guests themselves can also disinfect as desired at check-in. We are also offering a la carte cleaning and disinfection services as an option.
• While grocery deliveries via Stop & Shop Peapod are available in town, we are offer an option for a custom, fully stocked kitchen, onsite chefs, and clambakes onsite at our homes. Dozens of great restaurants in the area, such as Siena, Wicked, Estia and Blue are offering pickup and/or delivery by contacting them directly. We can provide a list.
• We know there are many families that are together, working and schooling remotely, that would like to get a welcome change in scenery, while social-distancing in a more remote, yet comfortable space. Between May and Late June, we are offering flexible stays and checkin/checkout dates, along with long-term special rates. 
• Knowing that more guests will travel via cars in smaller groups this year, we are allowing 8&10 Wharf Ave homes to be rented separately or together, including summer. Normally in summer, we only rent them together for larger family reunions.

Great place for family vacation

We rented both 8 & 10 Wharf and had a large family gathering for a graduation celebration. It was just as advertised and Don is quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Nice walking paths and a quiet neighborhood. We appreciated the supply of paper goods and hand soap, etc. Washer and dryer available so don't overpack! Plenty of restaurants a short drive away.

Perfect in every way!

Rented both houses while celebrating the wedding of our youngest son. Both houses are well stocked with beach equipment and all the amenities we expect. Don the owner was a pleasure to work with and Bob the property manager was also super. If you have a large group and want to spend time at the Cape then this is the place for you! Fantastic family vacation and many memories to bring home! We were looking for something that could suit 17 of us and these two properties combined couldn't have been more perfect! Both property are clean, adorably decorated and full of everything you may need! A VERY short walk to the private beach was fantastic for coordinating nap times and down times as each family needed it. Biking and walking trails for all to enjoy and the downtown market with live music most nights is just a two minute walk away. Great for ice cream for the kids, mini golf, the most amazing lobster roll at the local restaurant. Golfing is also two minutes away but we did not play as we were just having too much fun relaxing on the beach. Don, the property owner was MORE than helpful prior to and during our stay, extremely responsive and helpful for anything needed. I would highly recommend this vacation to anyone! Thank you Don for a wonderful trip!

Great for families!

I stayed with my extended family in both cottages for a week. 7 adults and 5 kids (ages 1.5-9 years old) fit easily and comfortably in the houses. The rental process was extremely easy. It was reassuring to be in contact with the direct owner, who was patient and willing to answer all of our questions ahead of time. Each house has 3 bedrooms off the living quarters - one larger with a single big bed, and two smaller with two twin beds. The larger house also has a gigantic master suite with king sized bed, en suite bath, and a loft with tons of additional sleeping space, if needed. Both houses are bright and cheerfully decorated, but not so much that you can't easily make it feel like your own home away from home. The Popponessett marketplace is a 5 minute walk along a wooded trail - one part of a larger trail system that is great for getting a long walk in. The marketplace has everything you'd want - gift stores, ice cream, mini golf, restaurant/wine bar - just enough to be a fun place to go, but not over developed. The trail to the marketplace goes right past the property, so during "rush hour" you can hear people chatter, but it was always quiet by a reasonable time. Actually, the houses are probably the two most private places in Maushop Village (a private beach community on the edge of a golf course). There is a large flat lawn, which is awesome for the kids to run around. It was really easy to entertain - with the two grills and lots of seating. The beach is amazing for kids. It is a 5 minute walk, mostly on a paved path. The sand is soft, and there are enough shells to gather to keep the little ones interested (although not the biggest variety of shells). The water was so warm - probably close to 80 degrees. There are a few rocky patches, but once you get out a way it's completely sandy. The waves are easy to manage - not very high. You can stand in the water pretty far from shore. We definitely needed beach umbrellas (we used one from each house, provided with the rental) and we were happy we had brought our own beach tent - the sun is bright and there is little shade. The kids had a great time digging a giant hole and building sand castles. Between the houses, the proximity to the market and the beach - and the wonderful quality of both - we can't recommend this place enough. We hope to come back soon!

Great experience right on the beach

This property was amazing for the size group we had (8), although could easily have handled up to 6 more. It was a very convenient 5 minute walk to the beach, and the quaint downtown within New Seabury had really good food and drinks within a 3 minute walk. There was a grocery store about 10 minutes away for when we wanted to prepare our own meals in the kitchen, and there was a convenience store within walking distance for the small items we didn't want to travel far for. The owners are very responsive and have stocked the house with pretty.much anything you'd need. There were even beach chairs we could bring to the beach, umbrellas, games for the house. Couldn't have asked for anything more!

Cape Cod Family Trip

We recently stayed at 8 and 10 Wharf Ave and I just want to say that the properties were immaculate. We had 14 people for a family vacation to Cape Cod and the two houses were perfect. A large lot with plenty of parking, a short walk to the beach and a short walk to the Popponesset marketplace. The one minor issue we had (a smoke alarm went off in the middle of the night) was handled by both the owner and the local property manager quickly and with no fuss. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to any large group. My wife and I hated to leave.

Great location for a family reunion

My family had a great 4th of July week at these houses! There is a great yard space for hanging out and playing games. It’s a 3 minute walk to a private beach and the marketplace. When the internet went down it was repaired within hours. There are many beach accessories for use so we did not have to bring as much of our own. I would highly recommend renting these houses!

We loved staying at this house. We had a big family group which occupied each of the six bedrooms, however never felt crowded thanks to the open kitchen (with big table!) and living room. The neighborhood was wonderfully quiet, which worked out well for the 5 kids under 4 years old that were in our group. There was also plenty of space to put pack n plays in each bedroom. It was a perfect house for us!

Ample room to spread out. Houses were beautiful and lots of linens/towels to go around. Super short walk to the beach and Bob's cafe (at the marketplace). The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. Property manager also came by to make sure everything was good, even though we had not contacted him. Short drive to Mashpee Commons for restaurants, grocery store, etc. I would suggest better WiFi as many of us got kicked off randomly and required router reset and also a couple more double beds.

Absolutely wonderful ! We had a family reunion and there was plenty of room to socialize as a whole or in smaller groups. I parked my car for the week and walked a short distance to the private beach or to the shops and restaurants at the Marketplace. Most of the bedrooms are on one level so the cottages are convenient for all ages. They are bright and clean - just bring your suitcase and sunscreen! Vacation was great. The owner, Don was very easy to work with. We initially had issues with the TV and internet, but he was available to troubleshoot and correct the problem. May need a booster to strengthen the internet. My suggestion is to not list the one loft area above MBR as a sleep 4. There are 4 twin beds but very small room and it couldn’t be cooled down to a reasonable temperature. Other than that I would rent this property again.

Easy and carefree Multi- Generation retreat

Totally enjoyed our large family vacation at this property. There were 18 of us, ranging in age from 11 months to 84. Enough space for everyone to congregate together and eat together, and not feel on top of each other - at all. Totally casual and comfortable homes -- with air conditioners that worked perfectly. Easy to walk to the Beach and the Village, and the Poppy Inn is also a 4 minute walk away. We literally barbequed 6 nights - and the grill is right off the kitchen. The homes are well stocked and easy to work in. And the living room/dining area of the main house worked for all to sit and eat together. Finally, the owner and the property manager were both super helpful and made sure our entire group enjoyed the stay. Thanks again

We were not aware of how awesome this area is but we found out fast. It is in such a perfect location in a really upscale town and neighborhood. The houses are in great shape. They had both been updated recently and had mostly new furniture as well. Having 2 houses gave us so much flexibility and it was nice to have a bit of privacy at times. The beach was beautiful, quiet and the water was still warm in early September. The owner and his crew were very helpful and easy to deal with. There is so much to see and do. Walk/bike paths, kayak rentals etc. Restaurants in town are to die for. Thanks for the recommendation to Soprano's - best Italian ever! We took an easy day trip to Marthas Vineyard, which we loved. This vacation could not have been much better and we will return.

A vacation spot where great memories were made!

We rented in June 2017 for a 24 person family reunion. We really enjoyed the homes. They are in great condition and this location on Cape Cod was excellent. A really nice private beach and the marketplace was just a 2-3 minute walk from the houses. The marketplace is great with mini-golf, music, food, ice cream. bike and kayak rentals and cool shops - great for all ages. The beach was sandy. not crowded and great for our 1 year old - 85 year old great grandmom. Plenty of beach chairs, umbrella and carts at the house. There was plenty of space for the whole family-inside and outside. The homes were rebuilt as of recently so they have all the modern conveniences including Central AC. In the town center, We enjoyed the large back yard and outside tables and chairs. We actually had a big barbeque right on the property. We loved the Popponesset Inn just a short walk away and the excellent dining. The memories that were made here will never be forgoten - it was our best location and that says a lot because we are picky neat freaks. We are already booked to go back!

What a fantastic location for large families!

The close proximity of the two houses made it possible for us to get together with our whole family. We had lots of fun outdoor dinners and sports activities on the large property as well as memorable times and meals at the Poppanesset complex right up the path!

Location, Location, Location - Perfect for Familie

We have stayed at Don's property two years in a row and are looking forward to coming back next year. We have 3 families that now includes 7 children and 6 adults. The two homes are more then enough room. It is a very quick walk to the beach and to Popponesset Marketplace which has outdoor music most nights that the kids absolutely LOVE. It is also a quick drive to Mashpee Commons which has nice shopping and rainy day options. That said...we hardly ever have to leave the property because it has everything we need!

Why they chose this property

We originally set out to buy in another area but a friend suggested this area had the best of everything and even felt like Nantucket...we soon found out he was right and decided to buy in New Seabury / Maushop.
