Private, quiet, and close to Snow Summit
It's an old cabin and smells and feels old. But that could be part of the charm. I was there for snow activities and other events so I didn't spend a ton of time in the cabin. It's simple, basic, and does the job and I'd book there again for trips where I'd want to get a lot of snowboarding time in.

Good experience overall, I give it 4 stars.
Overall the property was decent value for money, given that we stayed in the peak Christmas season. The house was a good size for our small family of 4. Dropped 1 star because we were not impressed in the overall cleanliness of the interior. Many spider webs seen hanging from ceiling beams, on top of the fridge etc. Nothing that a good once-a-year cleanup with a duster wouldn't fix. Bunk bed was ready for replacement - the upper bed had cracked around the side mounting bolts (wood construction) and was also missing the side support beam, so we had our concerns about the kids possibly falling off the bed in the night. Numerous other small maintenance issues, such as bathroom towel rails falling off the walls (present upon arrival - should have been caught by the cleaners and addressed before our stay - annoying to have no-where to put the wet towels to dry). Again, a small issue, but when paying to stay somewhere I am giving constructive feedback to improve future experiences for others. Property does have a driveway, but it is very narrow and hard to get a large SUV down, as it is flanked with trees as you drive up the driveway, so care is required when parking. On our 3rd day of stay, we were greeted with loud construction work during the daytime as the neighboring property was undergoing a major refurb and power tools were being used as early 8am! It was LOUD! And disrupted our stay in the home due to noise. We won't be staying at this particular property again.
