The Elwetritsche are legendary, elf-like birds that are said to be found in the Palatinate Forest.
The painter has assured us that the picture was taken in the immediate vicinity of the holiday home. Therefore the house was baptized with this name.
Your holiday home for you and up to 5 other people is located in the middle of the Palatinate Forest, close to Alsace and the southern wine route in the Eichwald holiday village, together with another 160 cozy, roof-only houses.
In contrast to other only roof houses, your house has two additional dormers. This gives you a nice, bright living space even in the dark season.
The houses stand in the middle of untouched nature with vast forests and bizarre rocks, palaces and castles, near the village of Gossersweiler-Stein. You can reach the Lindelbrunn castle ruins, the wildlife and hiking park and many other excursion destinations on foot.
By car you are in a few minutes in one of the many beautiful Palatinate wine villages or in Alsace. The cities of Bad Bergzabern, Annweiler and Landau with their diverse cultural offerings are only a few kilometers away.
