• Cooktop in the kitchen but no oven

• No shooting and hunting

• Please be aware this is a desert environment, there are critters in-and-out once in awhile

• Due to the combination of high winds, loose soil/sand in the desert, the cowboy tub will not be prefilled with water to avoid getting the water dirty. Guests are welcome to fill it themselves.

Please notify us 24 hours in advance, if additional service is required to fill the cowboy tub on the day of arrival. (A $60 fee applies).

Just a small cozy place perfect for going into the national park. It is so close to the entrance that it can’t get much more covienent.

I loved the beautiful home I stayed in for 21 days! It was immaculate and cozy. The location was perfect, at only a mile or less to Joshua Park west entrance. There are trails right behind the home I would hike on as well. It’s quiet and peaceful too. It’s just what I needed! A huge plus is management. They were so kind, accommodating and available within minutes of an email. I would definitely stay at the again!

Amazing experience at Rainbow House! Just down the street from the west entrance if Joshua Tree National Park Entrance, it was the perfect place for an overnight stay! We explored the park by day and had a cozy, clean place to retreat after sunset. Communication was prompt, thorough, and pleasant. Would definitely recommend staying here!

The description on the profile is accurate. Perfect for a single or couple getaway. Clean, cozy, everything you need, very close to the entrance of the park. Beautiful view of the desert from the main window. Easy access to a walking path from the back. Definitely returning.

Joshua tree rainbow house

Great location near Park entrance and 5 min to town. Rainbow house is a new, small, stand-alone 2 room mini-house. It has a decent size bedroom with good bed and a separate kitchenette/dining room with a table, couch, frig and 2 burner cooktop. The bathroom is small, but has a large, pretty tiled shower. All in all, it was a fine place to spend two nights.

Location location pass on the rest, neglected and impersonal

The communication with the property manager was horrible. I had questions and all I got was systematic generic message never answering my questions. They also charge an extra $45USD fee that they do not specify on the listing for 'damage waiver'?! Pros The house itself was ok although super generic. It has all the basic things you need. Location is great, right at the park entrance. Cons We arrived to find mouse poop in the kitchen besides the vacuum cleaner that was also just left in the middle of the kitchen as well as ants in the shower. The AC noise is a nightmare to sleep with as the unit is right above the bed so you can't turn it on as you sleep. Overall there was also a lack of attention to details, and although it looks good on the surface it's far from well done and thought out. A nice feature was the outdoors bath - which is mainly why we booked the property, but we arrived and it was dirty we had to clean it ourselves and when I asked property manager on how to fill it I had no answer at all. I would unfortunately not stay there again.
