Lovely, very clean home with fabulous views. Location was perfect for visiting Banff. The hosts were so quick to respond and help out with any questions we had.
The house is lovely and well set out.. ideal for a small family get together. It is close enough to the town to walk to for dinner outing as well as shopping.. the rooms are well sized and clean. The facilities provided are also of great quality. The property managers were very prompt in responding to queries etc. I would definitely recommend the property for others to stay at.
Beautiful home. Good privacy between the bedrooms. Great location, close walk to shopping and restaurants. Chris & Tanya are extremely responsive and fantastic hosts!
Amazing stay in Canmore! We had a group of friends all visit for a banff trip and loved our stay here. Condo has fantastic amenities and a great view of the mountains while grilling from the deck. The place is very walkable to nearly all of Canmore and a quick drive over to banff. The park pass was super helpful for entry. Hosts were extremely communicative and had thought of everything. They even have a guidebook of places to see and eat!Highly recommend staying here for your next visit to Canmore!
The house is very nice and in terrific shape. Comfortable beds and well appointed. The location is wonderful - Canmore is nice and it’s just 15 minutes to Banff. Would 100% stay here again.
We were pressed to find a place in Canmore last minute and this was an amazing surprise. Well appointed close to grocery stores and restaurants. Property managers were very responsive .
Unfortunately, our experience at this property was disappointing due to several issues that significantly impacted our stay. The most serious issue with a leaking toilet. While the host did attempt to address the issue during our stay, it was never resolved. This made our time at the property uncomfortable and inconvenient, and also raised serious safety and health concerns. The host mentioned that it wasn’t possible to get a plumber out because it was a long weekend. However, I did a quick Google search myself and found several emergency plumbers in town who were available and could have resolved the issue promptly if contacted. This made it feel like the situation wasn’t handled with the urgency it required.Additionally, there were small deficits throughout the house that added to the overall discomfort. The number of seats at the dining table and the quantity of basic kitchen dishware were not adequate for the number of guests the property claims to accommodate. This made meals and general use of the space less enjoyable and practical for our group. After our stay, I reached out to the host personally to discuss the situation and ask for some form of compensation, given how much it impacted our visit. Unfortunately, the host declined, stating they did not believe it was necessary on their end. This experience left us feeling unheard and disappointed, especially considering the cost of the stay. Given the cost, I cannot recommend this property

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
Our stay from June 25-27, 2024, was a nightmare. The unresponsive property managers, Chris Piercey and Tanya from Elk and Owl (http://www.elkandowl.ca/), left three families stranded. We received no assistance despite numerous attempts to contact them, leaving us helpless and abandoned.
Desperate for help, we turned to VRBO customer service, facing hours of frustration with call drops and unhelpful agents. The alternative accommodation offered was laughably inadequate, not close to the standard we booked.
With no other option, we scrambled to find a last-minute hotel, significantly increasing our expenses. The stress of finding a place late at night with young children is something no family should endure. We spent a fortune on hotel rooms, money we had not budgeted for.
Adding insult to injury, VRBO's lack of response after this ordeal has been infuriating. Despite promises to look into our situation, we received no follow-up or resolution. Our calls and emails go unanswered.
This experience felt like outright theft. We paid for a service never delivered, and the additional costs have left us financially and emotionally drained. I am writing to warn others: do not book this property, do not trust Chris Piercey and Tanya from Elk and Owl, and do not rely on VRBO in a crisis.
We are seeking a full refund, reimbursement for our hotel expenses, and compensation for the distress caused. This experience has left us with a bitter memory of what should have been a joyful family
This property was perfect for our family of 9. Everything that was needed for a 7+ night stay was already there. All we purchased were our groceries. The perfect location in Canmore with great views. Walking location to restaurants. Pristine condition and high end furnishings. Definitely will rent again. Communication was wonderful even though we did not have a need to reach out. Highly recommend.
Our family stayed at this property for a full week, and had a wonderful time! The property had everything we needed, was new and stylish, and perfectly maintained. The host was excellent with communication and accommodating to our requests. Thank you!!
We stayed at this beautiful 3 bedroom townhome for 9 nights and loved it! The layout was fabulous for our family, the beautiful decor, high ceilings and fireplace made our holiday great! The check in process and communication with the host were great. We would highly recommend this property as a lovely homebase from which to explore the mountains.
