The Wandering Goat is your getaway in the Black Hills, located near downtown Custer, South Dakota and the Mickelson Trail. Its peaceful location on 3 acres provides the perfect place to relax in the hot tub after adventures to Custer State Park, Crazy Horse Memorial, Mount Rushmore, Wind Cave and more. Decks wrap 3 sides of the home for nature viewing. The home includes 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a large open kitchen, two living rooms, BBQ grill and lots of space to spread out! Bring your UTVs!
Sleeping arrangements include a
*king bed in the master
*twin-over-double bunk bedroom
*queen bedroom
*queen murphy bed in the downstairs living area.
The home is well-appointed, featuring some art from local or up-and-coming artists, including a portrait of the wandering goat himself.
*Complimentary bottled water, snacks, coffee and tea.
*Complimentary Custer State Park Pass
*Free passes to Custer City pool
A 1-car garage as well as ample driveway parking and room for large vehicles.
We are available 24/7 by phone.
Just minutes from the local grocery store and convenience store, but you'll feel secluded and private down a dirt road and to our 3 acre property covered in trees and beautiful Black Hills scenery
Suggest a vehicle for touring the Black Hills area.
Like many Black Hills homes, we do not have air conditioning. The windows and doors have screens to provide fresh mountain air. Hot tub is available only May 15th to September 15th.
