Older, remodeled farmhouse remotely located on 80 acres. Upper and lower deck for viewing birds and wildlife and for star gazing. Also, a short walking trail to view Stag Brook Valley. Full kitchen which has most of the utensils for cooking and dining. Spacious yard and parking to accommodate recreational trailers.

We had a nice stay at the lodge. The house was clean and all of the rooms were nice and comfortable. The host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We have family in the area so will definitely stay here again.

Our family had a great time. We were able to get good rest and enjoyed the quiet and peace of the farm house. We enjoyed a small gathering around the firepit with our family and other members of the Ruhland family where our kids got ro run around and play while we all had smores and chatted for an easy ejoyable evening.

Quiet location in the country. Plenty of space for us. We were so glad to be able to bring our pup! We saw wasps when we arrived and they came out right away and took care of them!! We enjoyed our stay and would come back when we are in the area again! Great communication and a great home.

By far my best rental ever. Ronald was a very gracious host and the views were amazing the house was stunning. Ronald came out after the blizzard and plowed the vast driveway up to the door. Just the most amazing vacation ever! Thank you very much Ronald for making my stay the best.

Simply perfection!

This place is perfection! It has everything you need and the host, Ron, was wonderful! It is secluded and feels like you are the only ones in the world…besides the cows and deer.

I am a farmer by trade and farmed in the area for over 30 years. My wife of 22 years is a health care worker and as of lately, she has been working a lot of extra hours, so it has been my two daughters and I managing this place. One of the reasons I purchased this place was because it is adjacent to my farm. With my two young boys that talk about wanting to farm, I thought this place would be close for me to help them out if that would happen. I love this area and it would be hard to move away from this environment.

Why they chose this property

During the summer of 2021, I was the caretaker of this property and would spend many nights on the upper balcony enjoying the quietness and the wildlife. When the opportunity came for me to purchase the place, I couldn't turn it down. Now I'm hoping to share this experience with others. Also, the wilderness behind the house has a nice trail overlooking Stag Brook and its natural beauty.
