Wonderful space

We stayed two nights. Easily walkable to downtown if you like walking. Host was very accommodating and responsive. The space is delightful, quiet and welcoming. Loved the complimentary water and coffee! Deck overlooking the gorgeous hydrangeas in back yard was a perfect spot for morning coffee amid evening wine.

Great home base for exploring Asheville

This property is comfortable and clean and is in a cool historic neighborhood (Montford). Very close to downtown. We appreciated Lisa’s attention to detail, including snacks and drinks. Also nice to see Lisa’s own ceramics on display. Lisa was very responsive and pleasant. Overall a very enjoyable experience!

Great Getaway Weekend

I was in Asheville for a meeting and my husband and I decided to stay the entire weekend. The stay at this charming Montford apartment was outstanding. The host was very gracious and made sure we had no issues at check-in. She provided restaurant recommendations and from that list I had one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. The rental was just as pictured, no surprises. There were many small touches to make sure we had a good stay. Highly recommend.

Easy communication, great community was able to walk most places. On street parking a breeze. Cleanliness of unit 10/10. Overall vibe of unit was perfect…loved eclectic decor. Attention to detail by host was well thought out all the way from the hula hoop on private porch to little mints…so peaceful and beautiful…would be back and would recommend.

Great spot in a quiet neighborhood. The unit is well equipped for a perfect stay. Comfortable living room with TV, spacious bedroom and bath. Keep the wine and cheese chilled in the kitchenette and enjoy them on the back porch.Host Lisa knows the area well and has great recommendations.

The BEST host!

I’ve stayed in many Vrbo’s and this one is off the charts amazing. Absolutely perfect, so nice, new and clean! Lisa the host goes above and beyond- she has coffee, espresso, cream everything one needs to start your day. On top of that she has sparkling water and beer in the fridge along with snacks. The unit itself is very well appointed and tastefully decorated. The porch out back provides a beautiful respite for coffee or wine. Location is right near all the action. I could go on and on. Do not hesitate to book this place. It was a glorious stay and experience!!

A wonderful Asheville experience

Lisa, an artistic host with such attention to detail was the kindest and most thoughtful host! Her place was spotless and just as described. She went the extra mile with snacks, drinks in the fridge and espresso pods. Parking was always available and had the weather been nice, downtown would have been a 15 minute walk away. Lisa was so flexible and gave us the option of checking in early and checking out late. We had our own back deck and entry and exiting were a breeze. My husband and I recommend her home without reservation!

Ideal peaceful neighborhood stay

Can’t say enough good things about our stay or host. Communication with Lisa was excellent. Had immediate replies to questions before our stay and she provided a very useful and detailed custom map to places all over the city. The unit was immaculate and had so many nice features it immediately felt comfortable. The kitchenette was set up nicely so we enjoyed eating some meals in instead of going out. The back porch is large overlooking a beautiful back yard that we wish we could have spent more time enjoying. The neighborhood is lovely and is close to everything. A short walk to some wonderful restaurants and walking to downtown wasn’t that much further, just note that there are hills. We also found that the location made it very easy to drive to popular spots outside of the city such as Chimney Rock, the Folk Art Center and the Biltmore Estate. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to stay in Asheville and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Fifteen years ago I rusticated to the mountains of Western North Carolina to immerse myself in the study of ceramics at the Penland School of Crafts -- an amazing arts and crafts school 45 miles north of Asheville.

My studio in Asheville is located in Grovewood Village adjacent to the Grove Park Inn. I spend the majority of my time making one-of-a-kind hand-built ceramics.

My home is a treasure to me. I am blessed to have enough space to share it with friends, family and guests!

It is my pleasure to create a special experience for you. The suite has been designed with your comfort and pleasure in mind. Great care has been taken to create the ideal "home away from home" while exploring Asheville!
