Very clean, well appointed, lovely loft space. We cooked one meal at the loft and went out others. I thought the fabric softener used on all the bed linen and towels was a nice touch. Location was perfect for everything downtown. We will book again when we visit Ashveille.

This is a beautiful loft in a great location. The host made arrival extra special by adding thoughtful details, but I won't spoil the surprise for you. This will always be my first choice when traveling in Ashville.

The loft is a beautiful apace and in an excellent location. It is central to all that downtown Asheville has to offer. Everything we needed was supplied and the furnishings were very comfortable and lovely. The host had great communication and answered our few questions quickly. Will definitely try to stay here again. The space is cozy, beautiful and convenient.

The downtown loft was amazing! Not only did the space have a cool and inviting vibe, it was quite, clean, and comfortable. Every detail was considered by the host to make the guest stay better than expected! I would absolutely stay again!

I had an amazing stay. The property is in a perfect location. Secure and convenient garage parking a short walk away. Amazing style of decor!! Such a cool place. Melanie was readily available throughout the stay and so helpful finding the property and throughout the check-in process. I can't wait to go back and wouldn't consider staying anyplace else.

The central setting was ideal. Parking was a little tricky, but once we figured out where to park, it was fine.The eclectic furnishings were charming and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Great shower and lovely king size bed.

Built in 1927 and originally the home of the S&W Cafeteria this property was restored to preserve its art deco inspired architecture and history while creating livable space with modern and natural elements that make it a unique lodging experience for those who want something authentic to the City of Asheville. It's our love of historical loft living and exploring the western region of NC that gave birth to the James Loft.
