Fresh produce is around every corner at countless local farmstands (or pick up a pie from the famous Briermere Farm), and you are minutes from a number of beach accesses, both on the peaceful Peconic Bay or the rockier shore of the Sound. An easy 2 hour drive from NYC, the house is conveniently located between Downtown Riverhead (the Tanger Outlets are a shopper’s paradise and the kids will love the Long Island Aquarium) and downtown Mattituck and it’s charming Main Street, Love Lane. Southport and Greenport are also a quick 15-20 drive and boast a vibrant restaurant and boutique-shopping scene.

At once spacious and cozy, Sound & Vine has Hamptons-like amenities with a farm view and feel. A heated inground pool sits in the gated portion of the backyard, partially in the shade of a beautiful huge Catalpa tree, with 4 chaise lounge chairs along the side. Inside the house there are five bedrooms, 3 full baths, an eat-in kitchen with bistro table that seats four, plus a separate dining room that easily seats eight. Just off the dining room is a den stocked with games and some children’s toys, plus a pull out sofa. The main living room is adjacent to the kitchen and has plenty of seating and a large flat screen TV, perfect for movie nights. The house is equipped with central heat and AC (2 zones), washer and dryer, wifi, outdoor grill with large picnic table and a firepit with lounge chairs.
