EXTRA CLEAN In-Law-Suite - QUEEN bed, High Speed WIFI, Smart TV & Much More!

As of May 14, 2023, the Saltwater Pool is OPEN thru Mid-October. 8/20/23 Just purchased brand-new Queen-size bed. Mattress has multiple pads for added comfort. We live on an 8+ acres, fenced in, on a quiet street midway between Georgetown and Lewes. We are only 6 miles from SPORTS AT THE BEACH and close to many nearby wedding venues. Would you like to have a wedding here? We held our daughters' wedding reception in our 2,400 sq ft Pole Barn on this property. We have a very nice large fire pit with adjacent seating on a shaded paver patio. We just purchased an expensive 6-person dinette table and chairs under the covered patio. Our Saltwater pool has silky smooth, and your skin will notice!! Our guests have their own private entry to a detached In Law Suite equipped with a QUEEN size bed and 2 new comfortable cots with memory foam (when requested to be set up). The athletic baseball players seem to really like the comfy cots. The house also has a Kitchenette with Sink, fridge, microwave, newly remodeled private full bath/shower. It is super clean. All areas touched are washed for the next guest. Be sure to review all pictures. UPDATED 4/15/2022. We now provide you with Amazon Firestick with Multiple Apps that offer hundreds of movies and TV shows. To name a few: Netflix, Amazon Prime, Paramount + and so many more. Free High-Speed WI-FI as well.

Great little spot

We enjoyed our stay as 2 adults and 2 youngish kids. The space was very small but functional since we weren’t inside much. We LOVED the private pool and spent lots of time hanging out back! Our hosts were very kind and even sent us home with goodies from their garden.

Memorial Day Weekend Stay

Ed and Cindy were absolute wonderful hosts! The property was so beautiful and the room was clean and stocked with everything you could need! We were able to enjoy the pool, patio, grill and the entire property. Their communication was excellent and we even got to meet them and their sweet dog 😊 we can’t wait to come back!

It was the most beautiful place to stay , me and my family had such a blast. It’s very clean , very calm and overall everything we expected. The host were amazing they are on top of everything. Relaxing weekend at the Reserve

We are just back from our visit and loved our stay. We were in town for our daughter’s lacrosse tournament and chose this property for its convenient location right between our tournament locations (Sandhill Fields and Sussex Academy) and the beach. Ed and Cindy have a beautiful, peaceful property and was the perfect place to escape after the heat and crowds at the tournament. The suite is beautifully decorated exactly as pictured and we felt very much at home. Our favorite part was cooling off in the beautiful salt water pool. We will definitely return and stay again.

Great location, great hosts, and easy access!

I rented for 2 months. I am so happy I did!! Clean, ample parking, easy access to and from any location. I had privacy. Good conversation with the nicest people in Georgetown! Having my own entrance was an added bonus. The entire space was recently renovated. I always felt safe. I truly hit a home run staying in this resort like sanctuary.

Peaceful acres

Thank you to Ed and Cynthia for hosting my stay this past weekend. I had tickets to attend the Milton Theater on Friday and Saturday night. What I found at my rental was perfect. Off the beaten path, but close enough to enjoy the short drive "home". The colorful wall hangings were beautiful. Done by Cynthia by the way. The smell of lavender inviting. Newly renovated and beautiful. Coffee, snacks, bottled water and cold tea provided. Very nice touch. The new bathroom pwrfect with all extras there...soap, shampoo. The linens rocked, especially bed sheets!!A perfect experience. Take time to walk the path with your coffee or tea. The fire pit is very large and a pool too.Summer will be geeat for putting your tents upp and stargazingThank you Cynthia and Ed

We enjoyed our stay! Ed and Cindy were great hosts- they gave a delicious recommendation for a seafood dinner - Beaches in Milton. We were offered the pick of their garden where we found the perfect size zucchini and some herbs. The bed was comfortable and very clean unit. Thanks so much!

As Advertised, that's all I could ask for!

How it is advertised is EXACTLY how it is. Ed and Cindy are nice as anything. They stay out of your hair (I never saw them once), but if you need anything they respond to your text right away. It's perfect for two people. More could be a little tight, so it's probably not the place to bring your 18 grandchildren! But I hope to go back!

Respite at the Reserve

This gem is an ideal spot for restoring the body and mind while reconnecting with nature. The salt water pool is worth the stay for city-dwelling work-weary people. Early morning coffee/tea outside listening to the birds as well as the neighboring roosters and meditating with the little succulent garden standing guard outside the door is worth the stay. The wind-breaks on either side of the property diffusing any gusts into a mind-calming rustling of branches are worth the stay. Watching the butterflies flitting around the plethora of fauna found around the house and grounds is worth the stay. TL;DR The Reserve is a place of solace to reconnect with the body and soothe the inner-self. Well worth the stay.

As a mixed media artist, I focus my art on foraging through national parks throughout the USA. After foraging, I assemble the items in coordination of background color, into an assemblage. The guest house is decorated with my art. A lot of items have come from my back four acres of native DE plants and bird’s nests.
I am 59, married to Ed. We have 2 adult children and a dog named Rudy.

This property sits on 8+ acres of land, on a quiet road. Neighbors are not nearby, so you have total privacy in your detached guest house. The guest house features a queen bed and an adult cot. It is extremely clean and in order.

As our guest, you have a private entry with a private patio. You can gaze at the stars on the 4 person high top table. There is an umbrella, gas grille and trash cans are provided. You have access to a shaded pavered patio next to a professional fire pit. The shed supplies you with all you need to make and tend a fire
