This two-story, oceanfront penthouse is just the perfect beach abode for your next family vacation! You will find two spacious balconies with plenty of patio furniture, a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials, a sunny and inviting living room with comfortable furniture, and access to a community outdoor pool for you and your loved ones!
Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. Highpoint South charges $50 per week or $20 per day from May 15-October 15 for parking. The fee only applies if you are bringing a vehicle. All guests shall abide by our good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.
Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page.
Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Overall great
Overall we had a great experience! There were a few funny things-the door lock was really tricky to get and the Wifi would randomly shut off and need to be re-set. In general the home was everything we needed it to be, at a good price point for us!

awesome location and views were amazing...building definitely needs some TLC as it is older...kitchen could use some updates with dishes and cookware but overall very comfortable. There was a miscommunication with the cleaning staff as the room was not ready upon arrival, but was remedied with one phone call. The 50 to park was a bit overpriced in my opinion.

Beautiful view
We loved the beach in front of the hotel. The dunes are beautiful. Lots of room for our whole family

We love the location of this unit and the building! The unit itself is older and a little outdated. The kitchen was well stocked and we made ourselves comfortable.
Nice place. Great views. Glad for four beds for four adult friends staying together. No cork screw to open wine bottle. Poor lighting in dining area and bedrooms.

Great for the price
It was perfect for what we wanted. A kitchen and a view of the ocean. If you have severe allergies to black mold, I would not suggest as main bathroom has some spots that could use attention but there other bathrooms were just fine. Maryland is very humid so I am assuming this could happen anywhere when ventilation is not used by guests.

Very dated condo
We really enjoyed the size of the condo. That said, it is Very dated and could use some sprucing up! We are self sustainable when we travel and it is a good thing in this instance. Never figured out how to have any cable tv on the roku tv.

The location is perfect. Beautiful views. Needed to do some cleaning when we arrived… cheezits under the bed and lamps/baseboards were dusty.
The outdoor furniture was broken and upstairs screen door was off. Indoor furniture was very “vintage”. But the kitchen was functional and the condo building was great!

High point south penthouse #1
The location and view were awesome. The condo itself is in need of quite a bit of work. Walls need reparein need of reparand paint. Tile was missing in one bathroom. All three bathrooms need updated. Both sliding door screens were off the track with one having duct tape holding screen in. There was a large hole in wall by the refrigerator on the bathroom wall. This condo would be very nice if a rew thousand dollars were put back into it to upgrade unit

Condo needs maintenance.
The condo was clean but needs maintenance. Rugs and couch were dirty. Refrigerator and coffee pot were rusted. Toaster missing knobs. Pans were old and dented. Bathtub drain was missing bolts. Baseboard heater in bathroom was dirty and rusted. TV Wifi kept going out. For the price that I paid for the condo, I expected the furnishings to be of better quality. I've paid a lot less for ocean front condos that were much better equipped.

When you walk into this place the first thing you notice is the beautiful view. We would stay here again just for that view! The condo was very clean, and the instructions had us strip the beds and place towels and sheets in bags for the cleaning crew. They provided more than enough towels for an entire family for the week. We loved how clean it was. The layout and the space is great. The down side: BE AWARE the mattresses are horribly uncomfortable. It would have been more comfortable sleeping on a floor. Also, the key pad to get into the condo was like breaking the code to a bank vault. There’s a long series of numbers that you have to type out perfectly timed or it would reset. Be prepared for the most frustrating 20 minutes of your life every time you enter the condo.

Dirty, mechanicals broken
Shabby and needing update are are one thing but dirty is unacceptable. Carpet and furniture filthy, walked in to find tags from new clothing on the couch, a hair tie beside a bed, three of five patio chairs broken, the patio table cracked. Couldn't get in when we first arrived because the door code didn't work. The mgmt representative was snarky when we called. The main bedroom air conditioner was broken and we had to sleep on the filthy living room furniture for four nights before it was fixed. The screen was off the sliding door in the main bedroom so we couldn't sleep there even if there had been a cool breeze. The dryer didn't work, had to attempt to dry towels and clothes by draping them over the broken patio chairs. Before we left the kitchen sink backed up and no one could come to fix it. Mgmt offered a refund for all these things that was an insult. Save your money and find another rental.

Walking into the unit immediately met with a musty unclean smell. We ran the dishwasher and it started to leak suds and water - after calling for 4 days and getting the run around, someone came out Wednesday without our knowledge which i found out when calling to report additional issues.
-The freezer had dirty ice trays and didn't appear to be cleaned.
-Under the kitchen sink, a rug was balled up on top of a dish drying rack which had miscellaneous items in it, did not appear clean.
-In the upstairs bedroom, the closet door was off the track and opened. There are several miscellaneous items, house & personal items, just thrown throughout the closets including shoes, lamps, cleaning items..
-Industrial items like paint and open pieces of tile in the downstairs closet. There is a blanket thrown over top of the sweeper at the bottom of the closet and another blanket on the floor of the closet.
-The unit's air conditioners are extremely loud in every room its hard to even have a conversation. They stink, setting them above 70 degreees the odor is musty/mildewy.
-The dining room table is very dirty the crevices are full of crumbs and dirt. There are stains all over the chair cushions. There are also stains and various dirt marks on the walls. The smell of the unit is unpleasant at best.
-The floor does look like it was vaccumed for the most part, the carpets though still look dirty & the general feel/look of the unit is unkempt.
