Located in the heart of Old Town Steamboat Springs, this remodeled home is four blocks from downtown and less than two and a half miles from the slopes. Sip morning coffee on the front porch, furnished with chairs and a swing. Your quiet retreat is a quick stroll to the free city bus stop, which runs every 20 minutes to the mountain. Or, walk to downtown Steamboat Springs in four blocks to discover tasty food and cool bars. Spend time in nature at Yampa River Botanic Park, about a mile away. Picturesque Fish Creek Falls is an easy hike in less than three miles with gorgeous views of the falls.

This peaceful, light-filled home has a private patio, den, and living room to provide ample space for your crew. A modern sectional and plush armchair surround a 50” TV with a sound bar. Unique artwork and an ornate rug add color to this expansive space. The sun-soaked den has a comfy couch and contemporary chair. Read by the warmth of the gas fireplace.

Sweeping granite countertops and subway tile backsplash line the large, well-equipped kitchen. Stainless steel appliances include a side-by-side fridge and gas range with a griddle.

Upstairs, the primary bedroom has a king bed and a living area with a futon and 42” TV. A skylight brightens the room.

A washer/dryer, complimentary WiFi, and Bose Bluetooth speakers

Great Place

Spent a couple nights here with 3 friends on a snowboard trip. Great house, kitchen appliances were nice and beds were comfortable. Would stay here again!

Warm and cozy

My wife and I stayed here for Valentines Day week. Very nice place to stay. The beds are comfortable and the garage is a plus in snowy weather.

Cozy Old Town Home

Great location and cozy home that had everything we needed. The Kitchen was well equipped, including cooking spices! We enjoyed the proximity to the downtown and neighborhood dog parks as wel, and would stay here again.

Great Steamboat Getaway

We had a great stay in Steamboat. The house was perfect for our family - me and my wife, two kids (6yo and 9yo) and their grandma. We cooked multiple meals, played board games and puzzles, and enjoyed the front porch. The location was ideal - we could walk to town easily and the neighborhood was very charming. We felt like locals!

Cozy and comfortable home near downtown

This home was perfect for our family and 2 dogs. It was nicely laid out, had a great kitchen and dining area, and was within walking distance of downtown. The 2 car garage was nice to have with the snow and cold temperatures. It was also just a short drive to the parking area for the ski resort. We would stay here again.

We loved the house and the location. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to cook. I will say the property is hard to get in and out of with multiple access codes required. However, we felt safe. We hope to stay again !

Steamboat Cottage

Convenient location and nice walk to town. Comfortable beds. Interior and Exterior needs some care. Several windows don't work, had to sleep downstairs it was too hot upstairs... No air conditioning. Trash left in garage that smelled horrible the entire time we were there.

Great place to stay but bring your own towels

This is our second time staying at this place and we think it will be our Go-to when staying in Steamboat. The kitchen is well-appointed with fantastic appliances and cookware. Really a great location for walking into town and lots of room for families to hang out and play games. The one issue was that the property only allowed five towels, two washcloths and two hand towels for five people for four days. I texted the management company, requesting a couple more washcloths and hand towels but they would not due to policy. We went and purchased what we needed for the rest of the stay.

steamboat rental

the check in process was terrible, leaving out that entry is through a locked garage door and making us wait 45 minutes for nothing at this rate of pay is upsurd when no one is there, no one is cleaning...no reason other than bad customer service. I spend 110 nights a year in hotels and have seen lots of great customer service, the agency I dealt with doesn't have it.

Beautiful home close to downtown

This home was so beautifully decorated and well-equipped with everything we needed for a nice stay in the mountains with our family. It was nice to walk downtown and there was a fenced yard for our dog. The downside was the check-in. The description as to how to get into the multiple locos needs to be rewritten, I.e., Step 1,2,3... very simply without all the extra words.Just wrote that there are two codes and this is how you get in. We walked around the yard, thinking there must be another, easier way. Also there were only enough towels and washcloths for one night. There were multiple people staying here so we had to do laundry.

Love this home!

We come up to Steamboat often from Denver and this has become our “go to” rental when it is available. We love the location on a quiet street, nearby the school with a great playground for our son, but close walking distance to everything in town - including the free bus up to the mountain. The home is cozy but spacious and the fenced front yard is a wonderful place for both our son and our dog to play. The home is one of the charming older homes that has been lovingly looked after but has all the modern conveniences and updates you need. If I had to pick a negative the only one I could think of is that the garage is not large enough to fit big pick-ups but it could certainly fit any SUV or rental car. We still find a place to park our horse hauler and like the house so much we have booked it 2 more times this year. You will not be disappointed with Steamboat, Old Town or this home!

Best stay for family and dogs

This house is a great find! We stayed here mid February during a good snowfall with our family and two dogs. We loved how pet friendly it was, there was dog trays, bowls, places to hang leashes and an enclosed front yard for the dogs. There is an enclosed backyard as well but due to the amount of snow we did not utilize it. The kitchen is stocked with GOOD quality kitchenware (pans, utensils, etc.) The beds were extremely comfortable, and thermostats were easy to use. Plus all new appliances! The set up of the house was fabulous with plenty of space for 6 adults comfortably. It’s also well stocked with complimentary shampoo/conditioner and soap. The garage is amazing with snowboard/ski racks to let you gear dry off and also a boot/glove dryer. There’s also a shovel to use to clear some snow away. Additionally, I was very impressed with how clean the house was, especially for it being pet friendly! Due to the amount of snow we had and the requirement of parking in the garage, the garage will only fit two small/medium vehicles. To park our truck in the garage we had to park it diagonally. We also had to be sure to have our phones on us because as mentioned in previous reviews the pedestrian door leading from the garage to inside the house will lock automatically when closed and the code is long. Overall, my entire family was impressed with this house, it felt like home away from home and can tell the owners care about the house and guests experience!

Beautiful home, great location - woeful management

The house itself is beautiful. Well decorated. Comfortable. Well stocked. Great kitchen and a nice outdoor area. If that were the entirety of the experience, 5/5 hands down. However, the management through Vacasa was horrible. If I were the owner I would be looking at other options. The check in instructions indicated a keypad on the front door. No keypad in sight. Went around back to the garage and there was a keypad, but the code didn't work. We called Vacasa and they just repeated what the instructions said. We finally got in, but only because we were able to find a key in the backyard near the door. We had to crawl over banks of unshoveled snow to get to the back and search for a key. If we didn't randomly find that key we wouldn't have gotten into the property. Then, Vacasa never gave us a solution for the code so we were constantly locking ourselves out of the house as the key only worked for one door. Due to the lack of code we also couldn't access the garage from outside making it a frustrating experience everytime we returned to the house. Lastly, we inquired about a late check out for the last day and no response from Vacasa. Like I said, incredible house. If I check the listing in the future and it doesn't say Vacasa, I will rent again.

Cozy House Close to Downtown

We completely enjoyed staying at this amazing dog friendly property. Everything was clean and comfortable. We had so much snow and the gas fire added to the warmth of the atmosphere. Downtown with pubs and coffee shops is a few blocks away and we found a great park for the dog a couple blocks to the east. We would highly recommend this property. The property managers were very responsive. All in all a great visit to Steamboat.

Loved the house. Location and the set up of the house were great. We did have difficulty getting into the house the first night which was frustrating. We were messaged the door code but we weren’t told that we had to go through the garage and we didn’t have the code for the garage. Support was helpful in resolving this issue.

Close to Town and Well Stocked

Lovely home near downtown. Spent a long weekend with two other adult couples - 6 in all. We all had our own comfortable bed. Kitchen is very well stocked and we ate in all weekend.

What a find!!

Great location in Steamboat Springs. The house was VERY clean and fully equipped with everything you would need. The only thing hard for me was lack of air condition. I run hot so our first night there, sleep didn’t come easy. Thankfully, it was cool our second night. Ceiling fans helped some. That being said… I would pick the same house, if available, for my next trip to Steamboat!! I loved also loved that they allowed dogs and the house was still clean!! I’ve rented other dog friendly houses and couldn’t wait to leave because people allow dogs on furniture and the cleaning staff don’t always clean up after them and there is hair everywhere. Not the case here or not obvious to this allergy sufferer! Long story, but would definitely recommend.
