Set along the river at the base of Electric peak, the natural beauty is unsurpassed. Numerous activities for the outdoor enthusiast and wildlife lover to enjoy. World class fishing in your front yard, hiking, snowmobiling, cross country skiing and hunting all lie out the back door. Easy drive or hike into Yellowstone. Many outfitters in the area ready to guide you on a horseback ride or rafting trip....!

The cabin is new and bright, located on a charming country road, away from highways. Two spacious bedrooms, each with Two queen beds and their own bathroom. Large covered porch for viewing and picnicking....!

Garbage needs to be dropped at either location: 1). Off of Airport road/Parillis Road in Gardiner along Hwy 89 2). Tom Miner pull off on Hwy 89 heading back toward Livingston. Open 24/7
Wash/dry/put away any dishes in kitchen.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Beautiful cabin and location. Had everything we needed - from bear spray to laundry detergent. Elk frequented the property often. One reviewer previously commented on the condition of the road leading to the cabin. It was perfectly fine if you have ever driven on a gravel road ever in your life. Actually it was much nicer than the ones we have at home.

The cabin was well appointed and had everything we needed. One evening we had some unexpected guests as a herd of about 15 elk grazed outside our front door! Proximity to the park was great. The only negative of the experience was the rough gravel road leading into Gardiner.

We love hiking, backpacking and skiing the backcountry of Montana, but nothing really compares to the sights and experiences of the Yellowstone area. It is one of the most unique and diverse environments on earth. We feel blessed to be able to visit the cabin often and love to share this opportunity with folks from around the country and around the world.

What makes this property unique

Location, location, location. Views and more views. The cabin is located only 1500 ft from the Yellowstone National Park border and on the Yellowstone River. This unique location provides for abundant wildlife viewing before you even get to The Park. There is so much to do at the cabin without even getting in your car. There is fishing or just taking a walk down to the river and combing the island in front of the cabin for nature’s treasurers. Hiking/cross country ski adventures await up Reese Creek which takes you into YNP on foot.
