Crescent House - Tranquil Downtown Home

Upon entering the gated front courtyard you will enjoy the tranquil garden and pond with waterfall sounds to begin your relaxing vacation. This two story home is set in the peaceful, tree-lined Downtown Lodi neighborhood.
Crescent House is a large, contemporary two-story home perfect for gatherings both inside and out. Three bedrooms and two baths are situated on the ground floor, including the Primary Bedroom with a large ensuite bathroom. The other two ground floor bedrooms share the hallway bathroom. The second floor is a large private room with treetop, neighborhood views in all directions. This room has a dedicated work space, private full bathroom, and kitchenette. All beds are king sized with fine linens. Bath towels, hair dryers, and shampoo, conditioner, and soaps are provided in each of the three bathrooms.

The kitchen has luxury stainless steel appliances, including a 6-burner gas stove top, microwave/convection oven, wall oven, dishwasher, and a large French door refrigerator freezer with filtered water dispenser and icemaker. A breakfast nook is nestled in the kitchen to savor your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Four bar stools allow dining or chef coaching from the spacious kitchen island. A beautiful built-in wine bar has a mini fridge, wine and margarita glassware and serving ware to enjoy all of your Lodi wine tasting favorites. The adjacent antique dining table seats eight to ten guests. All cooking and serving ware you will need are provided for your use.

The backyard has a lush garden and paved patio for you to enjoy dining outside under the market lights. Use the gas BBQ grill, and the fire pit all times of the year. The front entry way pond provides a lovely waterfall sound during your stay.

The garage is available for guest use and two cars can fit in the driveway.

Pulling into the driveway the property seemed average but upon entering it was beyond expectations. Was a perfect place to gather with our extended family. 3 of the 4 bedrooms were on the ground floor and were greatly appreciated by our older participants. Marne was quick and clear with answers to our few questions. Highly recommended for groups. Close to shopping and Downtown Lodi.

This was our second visit to Crescent House and it couldn't have gone better. Beautiful house and garden. The kitchen is the best equipped of any rental I've been to. We enjoyed cooking complicated family favorites while visiting our family in the Lodi area. Great neighborhood and excellent host. We will return! Thanks

We were in town for our son's wedding, and this beautiful property served as the perfect home base. The design upgrades throughout the house and the open kitchen are exceptionally well done. The location couldn't be better—it's incredibly convenient to local shops for daily necessities and just a short trip to downtown where we had a wonderful time antiquing. On top of that, our host Marne was fantastic to work with and great with communication. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time at the Crescent House in Lodi. Located in a charming downtown neighborhood, it was a great jumping-off place to the wine country. It's decorated thoughtfully inside and out with lots of room for a large group. Cool TV room for the Superbowl this weekend, and the bedrooms are large too. We loved it and we look forward to returning.

The property was very clean, the kitchen well stocked and the property was pet friendly. The host was expedient in answering any questions. My only recommendation would be provide Lysol wipes, Comet type products, and a scritch pad for cleaning up the kitchen after oneself after cooking. We enjoyed the convenience of the property to the downtown and felt very safe walking about the historical neighborhood.

We had an excellent 8-day visit at the Crescent Street house. The house is very spacious, very clean, and very well equipped. There are so many wonderful touches in the house that make it special: from on-demand hot water at each sink, to very comfortable beds, to plenty of high-quality towels and a great kitchen. The neighborhood is lovely, quiet and very walkable and there are many excellent restaurants close by. Check-in and check-out were super easy and the property manager, Marne and her staff were excellent to work with. While the property is on the expensive side, we found it well worth the cost and are looking forward to a longer visit in the fall.

Our family of 5, plus two small kiddos, had a wonderful stay here over Easter weekend. The house was even more beautiful and relaxing than in the photos. The kitchen was well stocked, the rooms all so beautiful and beds very comfy. My two kiddos and I were very happy in the upstairs suite, while the rest of the family each had their own room downstairs with king beds. We were able to utilize the garage for our suburban and the patio was lovely to eat dinner or relax with a glass of wine. The location was perfect and we were able to walk to get wine, dinner, shop in downtown Lodi, the movies, the park and even church! We would not hesitate to book this home again in the future!

The host made it so easy for us to have a great time! From all the pre-communications we knew exactly what kind of equipment was in the kitchen so we were ready to do our week of cooking and baking with our family. Marne is a long-time Lodi resident and happy to refer you to all of our local favorite things to do in town. The Owners, Paul and Jami purchased Crescent House to have a Downtown Lodi home to share with family and those looking for a great, home-town experience. Jami grew up in Lodi and often returns to her home on the family vineyard.

Why they chose this property

Neighborhood walks are a must in this friendly, historic downtown neighborhood. The tree lined streets are a favorite area of town. There are also two large parks within a few blocks of the house with picnic areas and play grounds. The Hutchins Street Square Performing Arts Center around the corner is a great place to enjoy concerts, weddings, festivals and events. Many restaurants, wine-bars, breweries, and shops are within walking distance.
