Wonderful Experience!

Our first time to Mentone and it was wonderful. My husband and I came for a weekend getaway and just to relax and this was a great environment to do so. The farm is so cute and before the end of the weekend we were already planning to come back with our kids so they could experience the game room and state parks close by!

Even though it is the middle of summer, the temperature was so incredible. Family enjoyed the cottage life, the porch (especially during such pleasant evenings, the hot tub, the game room, and especially the blueberry picking within 100 ft from our cottage. Really comfortable accommodations in every way. Would love to see an 11am checkout but everything was perfect.

Beautiful scenery, liked the water. The property was unkept. It did not look like the owners were expecting anyone. There was cobwebs all over the decks along with limbs, debris, and insects. The outdoor area was the same. It did not look like anyone had stayed there in many months. There was bugs inside as well. One in the bath. It just looked like it needed a proper cleaning and maintenance.

Don't pass this one by

If you like being out of crowded places and love nature this is the place for you. We are outside people and loved staying here. We enjoyed the porch with the fireplace so much we had a hard time leaving. Listening to the night sounds and watching lightening bugs was relaxing. Having a fire in the fireplace was so relaxing. And there are firepits on the property. Although we didn't use the grill it was available. We were blessed to see two baby bluebirds leave their nest and see baby rabbits in the driveway. Our last night the moon was almost full and smiling down on the whole area. Slept like babies at night and generally had a relaxing vacation away. We ighly reccoment this spot.

A lovely, small cabin with lots of comforts, nice touches, and efficiencies all around. Lovely aesthetic. The kitchen was great, the hot tub was excellent, the rec room was fun, the blueberries were gorgeous and tasty, and the surrounding nature was just perfect. We felt very taken care of by the hosts. Local Mentone Market, Arts Center, and Elevation Bistro were faves. Visited Brow Park for sunset and hiked at DeSoto Falls. A great, low-key getaway.

Such a sweet little spot!

The Whimsical Waterfall Cottage at Blueberry Falls Farm was such a fun little getaway! We had the best time picking the scrumptious & plentiful blueberries! We stayed out til dark picking and glad we did, because we got to experience all the magically lit chandeliers in the trees on our walk back to the cottage. The cottage itself is very cozy with all the essentials. The bed was super comfy! It’s definitely a treat to stay there in blueberry season.

Why they chose this property

Emmye and Seth found this property in the early part of 2021. From the moment we stepped foot on it, we knew it was a special place. You can truly escape for a few days and take in everything that it has to offer. Open up the windows and listen to Blueberry Falls just below the bungalow. Take a walk in between the rows of more than 400 blueberry bushes on site. Explore downtown Mentone and all of the wonderful outdoor activities available less than 30 minutes from the house. Or just kick back by the outdoor fireplace on the porch and just take in the nature around you. If you are looking to unplug and escape the city for a few days, this is the place for you.
