This beautiful historic home has been updated with brand new bathrooms and a beautiful combination of antique and new furniture. Every detail was seen to. Add the charming layout with two master bedrooms and a bunk room to the perfect location just 0.2 miles to DowntownAuburn and you have the perfect retreat.

You absolutely cannot beat the location. Pretty, older home with lots of character. King mattresses were a bit firm for our liking, but didn't affect our stay. We've already booked the home again for our next trip.

This is a lovely small house and we enjoyed staying there. The only thing I disliked was that there are very few lamps and none in a place that is convenient to sit and read. A few more lamps would be helpful. Also, the reference to a laundry room should be removed from the check-in instructions, since there is no laundry room and this can lead people to expect one. But these are small quibbles about an otherwise good property.

Hi David! Thank you for your review of our property. I’m sorry you did not find enough lamps in the home. We have several lamps in the living room and in each bedroom. The living room has a large sofa and 2 comfortable chairs. I’m sorry those areas did not provide enough reading opportunities for you. Also, I am sorry you did not see the instructions on accessing the laundry room. They were included in your check in information. We have a large laundry room in the first doorway on the driveway side of the house. Check in instructions supplied information on which doorway, as well as, location for the key to unlock that door specifically. Next time you stay with us please let me know if you are unable to find an amenity and we will gladly help you find anything you may need. Thanks so much for staying and we hope you come back to visit us in the future!

The property was nice. Needs a little TLC . A little odd that you have to walk through one bedroom to get to the other or you had to walk outside and walk around to the front or back door, make sure you had the key or you could not get in. Would stay again.

This was our second stay, and it was just as we remembered. Cannot beat the location or price. We’re able to walk everywhere we want to go in downtown Auburn. Beautifully decorated. We used the front porch everyday afternoon/evening for rocking in the chairs and sipping wine. As with all downtown rentals, there is road noise at night, but that should be expected. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again.
