This completely renovated home with full kitchen 3 bedrooms 2 bath split plan has a large Florida room with a attached screened lanai. Private backyard with stone fire pit. Located just 2.5 miles from the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico, and several beaches and accesses for you to visit Turtle Beach is on the southern edge of the island of Siesta Key for the award-winning Crescent Beach comprises most of the island with 13 public beach accesses at Siesta Key Village is at the north end, and comprised of many restaurants with outdoor dining and shops.

Best Vrbo I've stayed at yet!

Wonderful property. Terrific furnishings, great beds and fully stocked kitchen. Linda was a terrific host and next time I'm visiting Sarasota I'll definitely stay here again.

Perfect stay.

This house was perfect for our stay! Comfortable, welcoming, good location for our visit, very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the patios, and the backyard felt private. Linda is a thoughtful host, and we had no issues with communication or any part of our stay. Definitely would stay again!

Great Sarasota Stay

We were looking for accommodation for our 1 week stay in Sarasota and Tropical Retreat was the perfect place! The home had everything we needed and we appreciated the extra attention to detail! The close proximity to Siesta Key had us at the beach when we weren’t golfing! Great vibe and we loved the lanai.

This is a very well appointed and designed property. The spaces are ample, to include two patios, a firepit, good sized bedrooms two bathrooms all on a nice lot and very convenient location to beaches, grocery shopping and other locations we were attending during our stay. Host was welcoming and thoughtful, and very responsive when we had questions, including when this writer was experiencing "operator error" (all on me) with the lock system. Due to weather we had an additional unexpected guest for two nights during our stay and this was quickly accommodated. Would absolutely return to this location.

Wonderful property!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Love the way the home is decorated and the attention to small details. Usually, I need to borrow a bunch of things from family and friends but not in this wonderful house. Location is close to everything and just 10 minutes to the beach at Siesta Key!

Great Christmas vacation

We stayed for a week over Christmas and had a lovely time. Linda was very patient with some requests from my mother. With the four season room and screened-in porch the house is quite spacious. We loved eating on the porch! Kitchen is well stocked. Location is super convenient to Siesta Key. We would stay again!

Perfect stay for families in Sarasota

We had a wonderful stay in this vacation home, it has everything you need for a short or long term stay. The home is very clean, well decorated, and is appointed with quality items, including sheets, towels, and kitchenware. In addition, we appreciated the family-specific items such as a playpen, and loved the outdoor spaces and spacious garage for laundry and beach items. The hosts are very responsive and friendly. We would 100% recommend this home to others.

Wonderful home to relax and enjoy Seista Key Beach (10 min drive)

Thank you Linda and Husband, you are great.Our stay was wonderful! From the moment we walked in, it was clear this place was more than just a vacation rental, it truly felt like a home. The house was spotless, well-maintained, and incredibly comfortable.It had everything we could possibly need, a fully stocked kitchen, beach chairs and towels and thoughtful touches throughout that made our stay so easy and enjoyable. You can tell the owners put care into making sure guests feel welcome and well taken care of. Love the screened rooms out in backyard, one has windows and air conditioning. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax, Highly recommended—we’d love to come back!

Very clean, everything in great condition. Had a great beach vibe. Owner was very pleasant Easy check in. We don’t like the the ac restrictions at 72. We prefer it cooler and washer dryer need replacement.

We already are working on the washer, the Dryer was just purchased 3 months ago, previous guests put something sticky in it that had to be scraped off and it messed up the drum.

Linda is a dream host!

This is our second stay. Always clean. Always well stocked. The air conditioning addition to the back porch was a wonderful addition. We had a hit of trouble with the lock on arrival, but she responded quickly. Also replaced our smoke alarm when it malfunctioned. I would always rent from Linda!

My family and I loved our stay! This was our first time to Florida and it did not disappoint. We spent 5 days at Linda's property and absolutely loved having a screened in porch. We wished we could've stayed longer. Being so close to everything but yet in a quiet neighborhood. If you like having locally sourced fruits, vegetables and meats, visit Detwiler's Farm Market, a short jaunt from the house. We will be back!

Amazing Family Friendly

This property was so nice! So clean, and provided different spaces for the kids to separate to minimize arguments. The on site washer and dryer were so needed! The beach chairs and umbrella and boogie boards were awesome! We bought sand toys and left behind for the next guests! Linda is an amazing host and provides a quality property! The home is only 5 minutes from the island, close to shopping and restaurants. Perfect place!!!♥️♥️

Great location too many different things that a person might need a vacation home for. Close to beaches less than 5 miles to the highway. Or if you have to be in town for work or visiting other family members.
