Relaxing Cabin Getaway near Lake Texoma ~ your retreat awaits!

Located near Lake Texoma, the beautiful cabin features everything you need for a memorable vacation. It sleeps 12 comfortably with a master suite, 2 bedrooms, spacious loft & 2.5 bath. The open floor plan (1900 sq ft) has a well-furnished kitchen & great room for relaxing. With 3 porches, a Texas-sized gas grill, and plentiful games, it makes entertaining a breeze. Enjoy the natural yard complete with a stone firepit, swings, horseshoes AND Ga Ga Ball! Just a five minute drive to the lake.

No cleaning fee and easy checkout. Price was not increased to cover the fee, truly a discount for guests.

Come enjoy the best Lake Texoma has to offer with your family and friends. You’ll treasure the memories made as you leave the city behind for a meaningful retreat to nature - relax and have fun here!

The cabin is wonderfully secluded with plenty of outdoor play space across the unfenced one acre property. Keep in mind this is rural lake country! Cell coverage can be limited depending on the carrier but the house is equipped with WiFi. The kitchen is fully stocked for a large feast, including the outdoor gas grill and both a drip coffee coffee maker. You'll have access to a Smart TV to use your own streaming services and a DVD player (Cable is not available). There is a dedicated workspaces for remote work. As a fun note, most of the cabin’s artwork is my grandparent’s or friends’ personal work they did over the years and personal photographs from my travels.

Brand new this year is a full size Ga Ga Ball pit - you’ll love this competitive game of dodge ball meets spike ball. Easy to play and good for ALL ages and sizes of groups. The horseshoe pits will lead to hours of fun, along with the available games, swings, hammocks and other outdoor sports! I'll let you know in advance if there are any burn constraints, which are rare, so plan to bring wood to enjoy the firepit.

You are invited to make the cabin your home, including bringing one furry friends (extra $40 charge for additional cleaning to ensure future guest comfort; breed restrictions apply).

Note that the walkable lake area closest to the cabin is a fishing spot. You can head to the nearby full-service Grand Pappy's Marina (~ 5 min drive), Eisenhower State Park, or other close locations to swim though!

Guest access:
Ample vehicle space is available, including for boat and watercraft equipment (must back up the driveway). The circular driveway includes an extended parking area behind the cabin for plenty of cars. The base of the driveway goes up an incline across a small creek. The back porches have 2 steps each and the front porch has 6 steps to reach the door.

What a great little find on Lake Texoma! The house and yard is chock full of activities, and the layout was perfect for 2 families (4 adults, 4 kids). Wonderful, comfortable cabin

This home was one of the best furnished and accommodating rentals we have ever stayed in. The owner shares their games and outside activities with the renters, perfect for teens. It is beautiful, clean and upscale. You can walk to part of the marina to fish. The location is excellent and only minutes to the Grand Pappy marina and restaurant. Will stay here again!

We had the best time at this property! Inside the house was clean and anything you needed was stocked and ready for use, the property host was very responsive, and the outdoor area was awesome. The firepit was very nice and the games added just the right amount of fun! We had 6 people so everyone had their own space. We will definitely be back in the Spring!

Spring Break Family get-together

My entire family (grown children and grandchildren) stayed at this lovely home for Spring Break. Rebekah is an amazing host. The home is well-stocked inside and outside for family comfort and fun. The place was extreme clean and the check-in/out process was very simple. We were able to enjoy the fire pit and other outdoor activities, and we all had enough space to have alone time when needed. We had 6 adults and 4 children.

4th at the Lake

Out of all of the VRBO's we have stayed at this property was the most well stocked and provided the essentials for our stay. Much appreciated! Great communication with the property owner. Quick New Year's Eve Getaway close to Dallas

Great quick extended family weekend getaway to celebrate New Year's Eve together. Location was about an hour from us (Plano, TX), and easy to find. Lots of great outdoor activities for all ages and luckily the weather was perfect so lots of outdoor time! Kids enjoyed the swings, corn hole, horseshoes, trampoline, GaGa, making smores on the fire pit (so much to do in such a short time). We even took a family walk up the road and less than a mile was the marina, so kids enjoyed fishing and seeing the ducks. House was perfect, clean, and fully stocked for all cooking needs. Definitely on our list to return in the summer!

Christmas Vacation

This was the first time since our mother passed last year that we held CHristmas somewhere else other than home. The cabin was very clean and cozy. I liked the fire pit and close proximity to the water. there was plenty of room for everyone to sit and the kitchen was large enough for our group. The only thing we had trouble with because we are not very tech savvy was getting football on the streaming services. other than that I would recommend this cabin!

Wonderful place to stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cabin in the Woods is very clean and pretty. It had everything we needed to cook a Thanksgiving meal. We hope to come back in the summertime. Rebekah was so nice and easy to work with. We brought a puzzle to do and even left it for others to enjoy as well.

This is a great place! So many games to play for adults, teens and littles. The owner, Rebekah, cares about your stay. The cabin is well stocked with the extras that not all places provide. Beach towels, extra blankets, plenty of spices, storage containers, coffee, soap, etc. etc. etc. We enjoyed our weekend immensely.
