Cabin in Beautiful Timber Coulee

Nestled between the hills and valleys in southwest Wisconsin you’ll find us and beautiful timber coulee. You will find yourself sitting across the road from the world renowned trout fishing capital Coon Creek, 1 mile from the International Continental Ski Jumping Competition that happens in late January/ early February every year. One mile from the Westby Snowflake Ski and Golf Club with 9 hole golf course and clubhouse featuring bar and food. Located on snowmobile trails and UTV public road. 30 minutes to the Mississippi River. Great option for privacy and being surrounded by the beautiful hills and valleys located all around our cute cabin. Located on County Highway P between Westby and Coon Valley, WI.

Inside you will find a fully stocked kitchen and bathroom amenities. We feature a master bedroom with queen size bed and a loft with two twin size beds and a queen size mattress.

Outside you will find a porch with bridge over looking springs and pond. You will also find gas grill and fire pit. You won’t want to miss out on this little gem of a cabin. Come relax, enjoy and play in beautiful Timber Coulee.

The cabin is very inviting. Rooms are clean, furnished well for cooking and eating in and just relaxing. The bathroom is well stocked and furnished well. Need to be sure you bring your own toiletries. The main bedroom on the first floor is very comfortable. The cabin is in a very nice setting with a brook stream running in the front. The area is very quiet too.This is our repeat stay and found it just as it was last year. - Would recommend to anyone.ThanksSuzanne & Ed

Please consider purchasing a knife set for the cabin. It was very aquard to not have a drain plug for the bathroom sink. How can you wash without one? Provide a glass baking pan. The outdoor lighting didn’t work. Would suggest fixing cabinet doors. For the price charged they should all be hung straight. The shower faucet and shower head are terrible. They should both be replaced with something newer and especially a faucet that works. We would very much like to rent again. But for the price charged (at a minimum) would expect the above mentioned to be taken care of. Thank YouRick and Jennifer

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We genuinely appreciate hearing from our guests, as it helps us continuously improve the experience at the cabin. For future reference, there are kitchen knives stored in the top drawer next yo refrigerator. We also stock a variety of cookware—including pots, pans etc. in lower spinning cabinets. We appreciate you pointing out the issues with the bathroom. To be completely honest, no guest has ever requested a drain plug for the bathroom sink, I am going to be replacing that sink soon. Regarding the shower, we apologize that the water pressure and faucet controls didn't meet your expectations. We also will check this and replace if needed. We apologize for the issue with the outdoor lighting during your stay, we have checked all lighting and did not find a problem with outdoor lighting, all switches are right inside the cabin door entrance. We are glad to hear that, despite these hiccups, you would like to stay with us again. We take pride in offering a comfortable retreat, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for a smoother stay in the future. Tanya
