Hip little place to stay!

This place was modern and cute and even had a record player and records, which we enjoyed. The location is right downtown and within walking distance to shops, museums, and restaurants.

The Finnley Hotel

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night out on Valentine's Day & it was amazing!! It was everything we expected from photos before booking and more. The room was beautiful & the check-in/check-out process was easy. We also felt safe in the room! It was an extremely comfortable space that had a good vibe while also being in the perfect location- with everything in walking distance. The bathroom was nice and clean; the blackout shades and comfortable bed were great too. It gave a city and luxury feel. We had amazing food from Brick & Porter, only a couple of doors down from the hotel, and also walked to the Grand River, only 10 minutes from the hotel. We enjoyed our night & the room was a big part of that! We had zero complaints and will 100% book here again!!

Business stay

This is a very solid place to stay. As I was in town for business, this wasn’t this ideal set up. Many amenities just didn’t impact me (record player, cocktail set). I had to buy more expressions pods. There is not any couch or chair to just relax. It was fairly quiet and heat worked very well. There were two times I took a shower and the hot water didn’t work for a minute or two during the shower. And no trash bin except in bathroom, and no entry mat to leave boots/shoes (it’s winter so there’s a lot of dirt and snow that gets tracked in). There is only one set of towels (one of which I had to use for boots) and no extra Kleenex when the box ran out.
