About this property

The Pointe Condo, Private Hot Tub & Fireplace

Summary:

Welcome to a peaceful oceanfront escape designed for slow mornings, storm watching, and quiet time together, with waves crashing just beyond your patio.

• Sleeps 2, 1 bedroom, 1 bed, 1.5 baths

• Private oceanfront patio with year-round hot tub

• Gas fireplace & large ocean-facing windows

• Shared indoor pool, hot tub & gym

• First-floor corner condo, single level, no stairs

• Kitchen, in-unit washer & dryer, smart lock entry

The Space:

Waves surge against the rocky shoreline as you settle into the rhythm of the coast, steam rising from the hot tub while winter skies shift and storms roll in from the Pacific. Inside, firelight flickers across the room, and wide ocean-facing windows frame ever-changing water views where gray whales are often spotted offshore.

The space

This first-floor corner condo is thoughtfully arranged for two guests, offering a quiet and intimate oceanfront stay. The single-level layout includes one bedroom with a pillow top king bed added in July 2024, paired with 1.5 baths, a full bathroom in the primary suite and an additional half bath for convenience. Bathrobes are provided for easy transitions between indoor comfort and the outdoor patio.

Living area

The living space opens directly to the oceanfront patio through sliding glass doors, filling the room with natural light even on moody coastal days. A gas fireplace anchors the space during cooler months, while comfortable seating and a smart TV create an inviting spot to unwind. Binoculars are available for whale watching and observing seabirds riding the winter winds.

Outdoor living

Step onto the private patio overlooking the waves and sink into the hot tub, perfectly positioned for storm watching or peaceful evenings listening to the surf. Covered outdoor seating allows you to linger outside even when the air turns crisp.

Kitchen and dining

The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals at home, featuring stainless steel appliances and stone countertops. A breakfast island and dining area provide space for relaxed meals, whether you’re enjoying a slow morning coffee or a quiet dinner after exploring the coast.

Building amenities

Guests have access to shared resort amenities at The Village at North Pointe, including a heated indoor pool, shared indoor hot tub, fitness room, movie theater, and a game room with a pool table. An elevator serves the building, and the condo itself has no stairs inside, making movement easy throughout the space.

Additional features

Fast Wi-Fi with an ethernet connection supports remote work, with a dedicated workspace located in a common area. An in-unit washer and dryer add convenience for longer stays. Free parking is available on-site and on the street, and self check-in is provided via smart lock.

Depoe Bay, Oregon while a small coastal town offers so much for guests to see and do during their vacations. You will love this centrally location coastal city with exciting whale watching and local flair, and just minutes from Lincoln City and Newport only a 20 minute drive North or South for amazing day trip ideas too!

• Nearby Beach Access: Fogarty Creek Beach (Only 5 Minutes North off Hwy 101)

• Whale Watching Capital of the Oregon Coast

Visitors from everywhere come to whale watch either from the new Whale Watch Center, the many shore observation spots or you can take a charter out for a closer look.

- Whale Watching Season: April-October

• Crashing Waves, Spouting Horns & King Tides

- A huge sea wall runs the length of the downtown area which enables visitors to shop or dine always within view of the ocean. This is the only town on the entire coast with this amenity. Waves run beneath lava beds and build pressure to spout water as high as 60 feet into the air. These are known as spouting horns and are visible during turbulent seas and stormy weather. Year round enjoy amazing crashing waves and you cannot miss experiencing the King Tides each winter season with the highest tides and waves of the year!
