Grandpa's Cabin welcomes the whole crew, sleeps 12!
Located in Meridian Lake subdivision, on the edge of miles of wilderness. Only three miles each to the historic town of Crested Butte and to the Mt.Crested Butte ski area. Rustic for sure, but in a spectacular setting...the views from this property are breathtaking...in the midst of single track riding, (the Upper Loop, Long Lake, the Lupine trail, 403, the Lower Loop, 401) and amazing 4-wheel drive roads (Paradise Divide, Schofield Park, the Slate River Road.) Bicycle all trails from the cabin. Please note, razors or side by sides and dirt bikes are not allowed on subdivision roads, nor are trailers allowed in the subdivision. Drones are forbidden in the subdivision. Basically furnished, nice linens. Fireplace, grill. Grandpa built the Cabin so everyone could come and enjoy hiking, biking, and skiing. There are three queen bedrooms on the main floor, the master with an en suite bathroom, and a second full bath in the hallway. The loft sleeps six, in five single beds and one full, with an additional full bath.

Beautiful cabin and great access to both town and the mountain. Instructions through VRBO for check out were unclear, but Susan was super responsive via text and able to fill in any gaps. Such an awesome spot, would stay again!
Grandpa’s Cabin is perfect ! Beautiful Mountain Views, hummingbirds, hiking in neighborhood, Long Lake. House had everything we needed for our group of 8 .. plenty of hot water for showers in the 3 bathrooms, comfortable beds, kitchen was stocked with all we needed for multiple meals.. including a new grill. We had a wonderful family trip, this was our second vacation there and we will definitely return !
We enjoyed staying at Grandpa's cabin! We spent Christmas here and it was the perfect White Christmas. The views are amazing and to wake up in the mornings to these views were breathtaking. The house was the perfect size for us and will definitely book again !
This cabin is in an excellent location and is stocked with everything you would need for a prolonged vacation or just for a weekend getaway. We’ll be back for sure
Everything was what we expected. It isn’t a new property, but was perfect for our stay. We had our entire family with us which has children from 4-15 years old. The loft was perfect for that. The kitchen was stocked with all we needed to cook our meals. Bathroom and laundry supplies were well stocked also. Loved having two dryers! The only negative I would say would be the cleaning crew needs to get rid of cobwebs and maybe a new shower head in the hall bath. The big will die was amazing to watch the sunrise and great scenery!!
Grampa's Cabin was ideal for our group. Great location, not too far from town but not too close. The views were spectacular and everything in the cabin worked.
My family and I stayed a week for a ski trip. The house was amazing, truly get the feeling of a mountain cabin. Home had everything listed and breathtaking views. We will be booking again for the summer!
Older property but instantly comfortable with a great fireplace. The 3 main bedrooms and multiple beds in the loft make for a wonderful hangout for adults with younger children.
Loved our stay and would certainly come back. Great location and very easy to get anywhere in CB. Love the little town and all the shops and restaurants. Susan took great care of us and the house is set up perfectly. Thanks so much for sharing it!
We loved it here. The views, the cabin, everything. Great price for what you get as well. We had a group of 8. A few couples and friends as well as 3 dogs. The dogs loved it as well as all of us and we fully plan to do another trip soon. Thanks again!
We picked this cabin to stay at for the week of our daughter's wedding. It was wonderful! Plenty of room to spread out and relax with family. Close to town for shopping & eating.
Fishing, hiking, star gazing & the occasional wild life visitors made it fun.
We loved our stay here for fall. Close to downtown, far enough away for quietness. We loved the little things like fresh flowers and a bag of local coffee. Thanks so much! We will be back!
Loved this house! It was located walking distance from Long Lake in a field of gold flowers. We got to see roaming deer daily. Cozy set up with plenty of room to cook and play games. Susan was very communicative and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic property with amazing views
Fantastic property with amazing views. Had a group of five guys who loved this place and want to come back. It is clear the owner haa been progressively updating the place with pleasant surprises.
My friends told me they’re planning on coming back next year around this time which is the best recommendation anybody can give.
The check-in process was very easy. Instructions were provided on the day of arrival. The host is very responsive, providing extra things to do around town. The cabin is spacious with a rustic charm. Having a garage to store all of the bikes in was an added bonus! Will definitely be staying here again. Thank you for a wonderful time!
What a great place! The beds were comfy. There were plenty of towels, plenty of kitchenware, lots of paper products! The fireplace was awesome - so nice to have a real wood burning fireplace! The only downside was the very steep steps to get up to the main floor and the heater didn’t work in the basement so we had to bring ski boots and such up those steps to dry! But, those were minor inconveniences to all the positives that we experienced!
