We enjoyed our two weeks at charming Heins Haven on The Betsie River. The cabin is very comfortable and the attention to detail was much appreciated. The hosts have anticipated almost every need for guests. The river is beautiful and we enjoyed watching the variety of birds and wildlife while sipping coffee on the patio.

We had a great getaway in March when it was in the 20s and snowing. The cabin was awesome and exactly what we were looking for. We'll likely be back in the future for more fishing and skiing

Lovey home with everything needed, beautiful outdoor space with a relaxing river to float down. Close to several nice attractions - sleeping bear dunes and traverse city are both a must do. Great internet access and no issues with phone service despite the more remote location.

We enjoyed our stay. We were able to bring our dog with us for an extra $20 a day. I thought a little high but at least she was with us. The house was clean and had just what we needed for the five days we were there.

Loved the coziness of this beautiful cabin! Felt at home right away, the snack basket was great and the kids started seeing wildlife right away through the big windows :) The sunroom was a fave spot and the games and bird ID chart kept the kids occupied! We loved walking down the creek and sitting on the swing. Cozy and clean cabin. Will def stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The Heins home was centrally located to many local attractions without the hustle and bustle of TC. Iron Fish distillary was right up the road and a fun spot. St Ambrose Cellers was also a great spot and close. Frankfort had a wonderful farmers market and many shops and resturants. We also hiked the Treat Fram Trail. The home was clean and cozy. Loved the sun room!

Such a peaceful place on the river. In a wooded area couldn't see the neighbors not far from the towns. Such a wonderful getaway from the city life . Loved sitting in the sunroom watching the birds in the feeders. Was very clean and well stocked will visit again.

Heins Haven was the perfect place for our family. The cabin had everything we needed for a peaceful and relaxing vacation. The owners even have little extras including a welcome snack basket, binder with list of surrounding activities and restaraunts, and soaps and lotions. We enjoyed each morning in the sun room watching the birds and after a day of exploring we ended our day with a cookout on the back patio. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property!

Thank you, Cindi! I am so happy you enjoyed staying at HHN during your vacation! You are welcome back anytime!
My wife and I spent a week at the cabin with our dog. All of us found it a delightful place in every way. Even though there are neighbors nearby, the property feels secluded with lots of privacy. The surrounding trees make for a blanket of quiet and a great place to watch a wide range of birds. We enjoyed hiking nearby in the Arcadia Preserve near Lake Michigan, traveling up M22 to some favorite spots, and visiting IronFish. The whole place is as-advertised and matches the many previous 5-star reviews. We are so glad we had the chance to enjoy it.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Heins Haven! This cabin had everything we needed and was very clean/well-kept. The all-seasons room and back deck were our best friends - so many birds to watch and a great fire pit for making s'mores! The kids were still too little to go tubing down the river but we hope to come back in a couple years to make the best use of the Betsie :-) We drove to the beach 2 days and had a great time. The cabin is remote but still within a 15-30 min drive to anywhere. Thanks Ginny!

An absolutely lovely slice of heaven on earth!! Perfect for our short family getaway. All beds are super comfortable and supportive, this coming from a family with back problems, spacious bedrooms equipped with individual thermostats in each room so you can sleep in your own ideal temperature conditions. The firepit area outback is well thought out with tons of seating options. Beautiful backyard perfect for bird watching, reading a good book, or just taking in all that nature has to offer. To top it all off, the Betsie River is a stones throw away, we planted some of our camp chairs in the current and soaked up the rays. We will definitely be back to this picture perfect haven!

We went with our son and another couple to twisted trails ORV park and stayed here for the duration of our vacation. The spot couldn’t have been any better we were 14-30 minutes from any town and for us was exactly what we wanted, it was a beautiful drive back to the cabin and the cabin itself was perfect and so peaceful! The patio was one of my favorite waking up to a fire and just sitting outside watching and listening to the birds. This is an amazing spot very peaceful to just sit and be with minimal people just relaxing. The cabin has any amenity a hotel would have. This is my new favorite spot to visit. If your looking at this little cabin you will not be disappointed!
