Great place to stay on Beaver pond! Place has plenty of room for 4 of us, could have more. Real nice spot on the lake, quiet and secluded. Close to Lake George and other towns. Nice and relaxing trip!

Beautiful place!!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home! So many amazing memories were made! We plan to stay again in the future!
The cabin was just as described, very clean and well equipped. If I had one comment, it would be that the drive back to the cabin was sketchy. Very narrow and not maintained like the roads leading into the dead end drive. If it would have snowed, we may still be there :). With that said, we rented a "remote" cabin, and it was exactly that. Thanks to the owners for allowing our family to enjoy their little peace of heaven!
This location could not have been better for us - our only complaint is that we had to leave! It's called Beaver Pond, but down here in Virginia it would definitely be called a lake. We really enjoyed the easy access to the kayaks and canoe, saw a beaver, fished and caught small mouth bass, yellow perch, and even a pickerel! There are no more cabins past us at that end of the lake, so it felt like we had the serenity to ourselves. The cabin was very accommodating and clean, and after being there for 5 days we still kept discovering fascinating eclectic decor and artifacts on display that we hadn't noticed before. We were visiting our daughter, who is a student at Word of Life Bible Institute, which was about a 16-minute drive away. FYI, our cell phone service didn't work well enough to make calls on its own, but we were able to do wifi calling using the cabin's wifi, which was reliable. We would love to stay here again.
We enjoyed the setting. Very rustic in the Adirondacks. The home is nice and well equipped, including canoes and kayaks. We had some issues with mice in the kitchen, including droppings on silverware and dishes, getting into food. The company sent someone out and they placed a lame Mouse trap on the floor. We did have to rewash the dishes and silverware due to mouse droppings. Their explanation was that since it is a house in the woods, we should expect these types of things to occur. I think that’s unacceptable given cost to stay there, administrative fees and cleaning fees. Not sure if we will return.

Aside from the following notes, the cabin and onsite activities were ideal for a weekend or week long (or longer) stay. Everything was clean, fresh, and well maintained. Our main intention was to see snow and have quiet inside appreciation of a winter wonderland. The snow fall, the snow covered trees and view of the frozen pond was exactly what we hoped. A future stay, during the spring or fall is easily imagined. The inside temperature on arrival was below 55 degrees and took over 24 hours to reach a reasonable temperature. As such, the first night was not comfortable for sleeping in the bedrooms. While there were plenty of spare blankets, the air was just too cold for comfortable sleeping. The second night was better, but the heat system didn't heat for the full night. The heating unit has multiple pre-programmed heat setting - each pre-set at 55 degrees. Unknown to us, one of these settings was controlled remotely by the property owner. This status was not known until after the 3rd night when host asked owner to release the override. The final road leading to the cabin is not maintained daily during the winter. There is no lighting along the road. Arrival before dark is highly encouraged. The kitchen facilities are well provided with pots, pans, crock pot, etc. Nothing lacking in terms of utensils. We were disappointed that the only available staples were salt and pepper.

Great place to land
We enjoyed a long weekend here. Clean and cozy with lots of artwork and beautiful artifacts to look at! Very accommodating host. We hope to return soon!
Kudos to the owners for the extreme makeover they did on this property in both remodeling and the massive expansion of the living room and master suite. The "vacation matched the brochure" in that the online photos were exactly what we got in person. The house was updated but had that log cabin charm. Just about every amenity was available. The only suggestions we would have would be to offer air conditioning, since we had unseasonable warm weather and even with the many fans cranking, it was still warm. The other bummer was there were window screens missing in the two bathrooms and the kitchen, and it would have been nice to have those available. This is nitpicking, mind you, overall we had a wonderful stay and quality time with family.
Nice roomy comfortable house! Worked out great for the 4 of us and our dog. It's at the end of a road so nice and quiet and we didn't worry about letting our dog out near traffic. The reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because we had planned on using the grille to cook dinner but there was no propane. Also, the thermostat kept defaulting to 58 degrees after setting it at 68. It got below zero out at night and made for some chilly nights in the bedrooms!
Over all though we were very happy and would definitely recommend it, especially to anyone wanting to access the many trails in the Pharaoh Lake Wilderness area!
The home is beautiful and so clean. Beautifully located on a pond in the woods. We would love to go back!

Perfect Winter Weekend Getaway
My husband and I took our dog over a long weekend getaway in the Adirondack. We had a lovely time at the cabin - the kitchen comes fully equipped so we cooked most of our meals and enjoyed hanging out by the fireplace. It was below 0 degrees while we were there, so didn't get to spend too much time outside. But our dog loved playing in the backyard and the pond was a nice view to wake up to in the mornings. The Vacasa host was also super responsive throughout the stay. We lost hot water in one of the bathrooms but it was addressed immediately. Overall, would highly recommend this place!
