Enjoy the warmth of mountain sunlight and lovely views of the slopes at Winterplace K306, a two-bedroom, top-floor condo with ski-in/ski-out access to the Lift Line trail at Okemo Mountain Resort. Returning home at the end of the day is easy - ski down to Winterplace from the top or take the lift up from the base lodge area.

This condo is both airy and cozy, offering an open living space that's anchored by a wood-burning fireplace and a large TV. There's a full kitchen, a sunny dining area, and such at-home comforts as a private washer/dryer and free WiFi throughout the condo.

With seasonal community amenities that include an indoor swimming pool, hot tubs, and tennis and basketball courts, Winterplace is a wonderful spot to find both relaxation and adventure. There are two chair lifts that come up from the base lodge area and let out by Winterplace, while the trail leading back down to the base lodge from Winterplace is rated for beginners, making this a fantastic location for skiers of all skill levels.

Great Location - But Could Be Better

As far as the condo - I give it a 3 based on location only, as it’s right next to the lifts. It’s missing a some stuff that can make it better. This unit is definitely someone’s bulk rental unit / bare bones. The living room furniture is terrible, there are limited cooking utensils, ex not a spatula in the place. They don’t give access to their ski locker, so you have to carry skis up 3 floors every night, the hot water heater doesn’t have enough for family of 5. Only reason to rent this place is to stay the closest to the trail and lifts. If they weren’t next to the lift : trail I’d give this place a 1 for Vacasa managing it It’s my fault for not noticing that Vacasa managed this place when booking as I would have picked different. You can’t get ahold of anyone and all they want to do is text, and every reply is we’re working on it and will get back to you. Well we’re on way home now and never heard anything on several items. Communication is terrible, here is list from trip - Parking Passes - they send email saying you to pick up pass, but no one tells you where to pick up, then finally they tell you it’s in the unit Pool Passes were missing in the unit and all they wanted was for me to send a picture of the missing passes ??? No heads up the washer is broken, there’s a sign on it, but couldn’t answer when being repaired Ski locker has sign that in unit that it uses the house key, but entry is keyless, couldn’t answer how to get access

Great location with some small issues

I rented this unit as it’s in Winterplace, conveniently at the top of the A or B Quad at Okemo. Was fantastic for ski in / ski out convenience! Main issues were small but impactful. The big one was the WiFi was out for the entire stay, meaning check-in was a surprising challenge since the key code lockbox never got the updated codes deployed from Vacasa (local property manager). It also meant using a phone as a hotspot for all streaming services and computer use (work and school). The drip coffee maker had to be replaced - it was stashed in a closet with a taped on note saying NG. And there was one light out in the kitchen making it dark in that area (high ceiling meant I wasn’t going to even attempt replacing it). Again - great location and good unit, but certainly the WiFi issue caused unneeded stress / took time away from vacation trying to sort it out with the property manager. A partial refund is expected, but I’ve not received the dollar value yet.

Nice unit. Little to do.

My sister and I checked in on a Sunday night with my 2 grandchildren planning on dropping them at camp on Monday morning. Sunday night came the torrential downpour. We hardly slept as it was very warm in condo. Couldn’t open windows as raining so hard. Bed I tried to sleep in was probably the most uncomfortable I ever slept in. Tried to get localish news and weather but couldn’t find any on the ‘smart tv’s. In the morning we looked for games or puzzles. Not even a deck of cards. There was absolutely nothing. My family does own a vacation rental and it is always stocked with things to do. In the morning my sister realized the HEAT was on and set at 80. Who does this in July? The living room furniture was the most uncomfortable furniture we have ever tried to sit on. The ceiling light bulbs were out in the kitchen. We actually checked out a day early because we were so uncomfortable. I even tried calling the Vacasa Host and went right to voicemail. Went into chat and nobody responded for five hours. We reached out with complaint to VRBO . They reached out to vacasa and they refused us any compensation.
