We had a great stay in the cabin, so much room for everyone! It was a great space for a big family, everyone fit at the table. Whole space was very clean! We got to see Aurora right from the cabin! Fantastic views all around.
Our large group enjoyed the quirkiness, cleanliness, and isolated location of the mansion. It have everything we needed for a great stay. The kids loved the seemingly endless nooks, crannies, and passages in the house. It was pleasantly better than what we expected from the website.
Really amazing property! We enjoyed looking at all the log features and finding all the animals through out. The first time I’ve stayed in a house with a musk ox!

Great experience in a totally unique cabin. Family loved the rustic atmosphere complimented by state of the art appliances and amenities. The in house sauna was a hit as was the upstairs bar. Eould definitely recommend this for anyone visiting Fairbanks.
Brought the family up to see my brother and do a bear hunt with him we had a great week everyone enjoyed the property. All was as promised if not even better
The house was gorgeous, so cozy and comfortable for our large group. We had everything we needed, great bedding, towels, toilet paper, lovely shared spaces, and love the extra bath house outside with additional showers and toilets. The host was very responsive and made sure we were taken care of. Definitely recommend staying there!
This was a large home with multiple areas for gathering. The kitchen was well appointed and big. As large as the home was, it was warm and cozy for a stay in the winter. It was not drafty. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Great property! Clean and comfortable. Kitchen was modern and well stocked. Lots of room to spread out. A bonus was the extra bathrooms/showers in the bath house next to the hot tubs.
This is a great property with lots of unique features and conveniences. It’s located right in the center of Fairbanks so easy to get around. We had a group of 16 and were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this property.
Amazing log cabin. We could just lounge around for hours and stare at the amazing timbers that creat a cozy place to relax in Fairbanks. It was -25 and the kids were in and out all day with great places to hang and heat up the snow gear, toasty fireplace, great bar area for the grown ups, and beds that put you right to sleep. This will definitely be an annual trip for years to come.
Beautiful old lodge style accommodation. Large stone fireplace with multiple sitting areas. Bedrooms quite comfortable but the bathrooms were not suitable for anyone needing handicap assistance. Showers are very small off the master. O we
This is a very unique log home that has so much character. It's a great mix of 70's log home with modern touches. There were 9 of us and we had plenty room for all and having the outside hot tubs and sauna was nice treat even though it was 82 degrees a couple days. I wish the house had AC but I understand why it doesn't because you would rarely need it. I would love to stay there again in the winter.
the house was rustic and beautiful with ample space however the listing said it's on the waterfront which doesn't feel true even if it's on the property. There is no convenient way that we found to access the river or the nearby lake, the tub and showers were slippery and dangerous, the stairs are very shallow and it's not the place to go if you actually want to experience being on a river or having access to a lake.
I have been to my share of rental accommodations. This is awesome in terms of the spaciousness, decor, cleanliness and the way house is structured. We were 10 people enjoyed staying here. The house was so big that we played hide and seek and felt nostalgic about our childhood days. This is closer to airport and has friendly hosts. It has bath tubs and attached bath houses too.
Definitely a unique lodge that met all our needs. The decor and construction are impressive. This place had everything you need and more. We even seen the Northern lights one night.
Great experience
The cabin is incredible, with beautiful wood and taxidermy throughout, and attention to detail everywhere in this historic home. The house is huge with plenty of beds as well as multiple common areas. The grounds are beautiful as well, though the lake and river and surrounding areas are very industrial, not quite what we imagined from the description. Also note that there are eight rental units (this one is by far the biggest), so there might be a lot of other people sharing the grounds and two hot tubs. The owners were lovely and gave us lots of ideas of what to do, and a window into Fairbanks culture. Overall, we would highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking visit the area.
All went well with our stay. The lodge was fantastic and check in smooth. Love the decor with rustic lodge poles and stuffed animals around the lodge. All systems in working order inside the lodge. Would recommend highly for anyone to stay here. We will be back again to enjoy Fairbanks and the activities it offers. Paul
