The cabin was very warm and welcoming, and the amenities were very pleasant. The owners were easy to work with and answered all my questions, even after we had already checked in. Would definitely recommend staying here or at another one of their properties.

Driveway is a very steep angle, so much so that my passenger was afraid when coming and going and had trouble getting in and out of the car. At the peak of the driveway is a narrow area big enough for 2 vehicles to either nose straight in or back into a space that nearly flattens out completely. One of these spaces was already occupied by the neighbor. Maneuvering into this space, especially if one space is already occupied, is challenging. The actual space available to park is minimal, there’s another blacktop area wide enough to park in right against the wood deck but it’s also narrow and shallow, took my Subaru Forester with almost no space remaining. There are neighbors directly across from the ‘master bedroom’. I would estimate about 30 feet from window to window, so if both homes had their shades up you would be looking at each other. Jacuzzi is semi private, the neighbor has no direct line of sight and is far enough away you feel they cannot listen in, however, directly behind the jacuzzi is another cabin about 50 feet behind this one that basically overlooks this wood deck and spa area. It’s wooded so you would think it would be private, but even in late September there was not enough growth to feel like you are not in full view of this neighboring cabin uphill. The interior is nice, charming and cozy with modern switches, plugs, sinks, lighting, appliances and TV’s with WiFi. Furniture in living room is a little worn, definitely been ‘lived in.’ Would rent again.

Great stay, the driveway was impossible to drive up with our vehicle, it was extremely steep and I couldn’t make it up halfway but overall it was a great and comfortable place to stay and perfect placement between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

Spring Break Retreat

stay was awesome. We loved coming back to the cabin after shopping and eating in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg to relax in the hot tub.

The cabin had everything needed for an enjoyable stay. It was very clean and comfortable. The check in and out were super easy. The hosts were very communicative. I would definitely stay there again.

We loved the cabin, it was cozy. It was nice to have everything you need for coffee. We had a long day in Gatlinburg so the hot tub felt amazing! Would definitely stay here again.

Great cabin! Very clean and nicely decorated. Conveniently located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Be prepared for very steep driveway but worth it. Would stay again for sure!

We had a great stay at the cabin. It us perfectly situated between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The only downfall is the driveway. It is steep and a little tuff maneuvering your vehicle around.

Wonderful Getaway

We had a wonderful time and loved the cabin. It was well taken care of and clean. We had everything we needed. The host is very nice and responsive when I had questions. Looking forward to our next stay in the near future.

Everything was great ! We had many encounters with the bears. The house is so cute but the driveway is quite a challenge. The host was gracious to answer all our questions and keep us updated.

Tranquil “tree” house

My husband and I actually felt like we were up in the tree tops! The house was amazing, from Checkin to checkout. The hot tub was amazing. We stayed out on the enormous deck until late in the night! The bed was comfortable! We loved the kitchen as we cooked our meals. We will be going back to G Pa’s place!!

The only problem I had was with my own directionally challenged brain. The cabin was more than adequate for our stay. Very clean, modern amenities, and comfortable beds! I recommend staying here and If in the area I will stay again.
