In the heart of the Lyons Forest, near the castles of Vascoeuil and Martainville, the village of Lyons-la-Forêt, and 25 km from Rouen, the Val-Saint-Pierre Equestrian Tourism Centre offers a small cottage that’s ideal for a stay up close with horses. Set on a beautiful Norman-style estate, this small, detached brick cottage features a 150 m² enclosed garden and on-site hiking trails. The Val-Saint-Pierre Equestrian Centre, certified as a “Cheval Étape” by the FFE, offers horse boarding, riding lessons for children and adults, and day-long camps during school breaks. Bike rentals available on-site (2 adult bikes + 2 children’s bikes for rent: €10/adult, €5/child). Ground floor: - open kitchen (microwave, electric hob), - dining room with TV and decorative fireplace, - separate bathroom. Upper floor: - mezzanine bedroom (1 double bed, 1 single bed, 1 cot), - bathroom and toilet. Washing machine located outside the cottage and shared with the equestrian centre. On-site: indoor riding arena, outdoor arena, 60 stalls, 25 hectares of pastures. Horse boarding available. Equine first aid courses are offered upon request.
