About this property
Stunning Chalet with No Immediate Neighbors!
Sitting on an acre, at the peak (3200 feet) of the private gated community of Pine Mountain Lake, views all around and no immediate neighbors, this house is a wonderful place to bring your family, friends and puppies. Completely remodeled, the house has new flooring, paint, kitchen appliances, mattresses, furniture, windows, blinds and a hot-tub.
Best of all, this chalet is about as close to the North Entrance of Yosemite that you can get at only 23 miles, while still enjoying a grocer, restaurants, and more.
Sit outside on the 1000 sf deck and watch the sunset. Enjoy the deer and humming birds while soaking in the hot-tub. You will be in a private, gated community 23 miles from Yosemite National Park and minutes from our Golf Course, Private Lake Beaches, Hiking Trails, Pool and more.
There are three bedrooms and two baths (one on each level), two guest bedrooms downstairs and a huge master bedroom upstairs. All bedrooms and the open concept living area have cable and brand new 55 inch + Smart TVs so that you can watch your programs on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc.
The house is equipped with high-speed Free WiFi and because it is on the very top of the area at 3200 feet, most Verizon phones will have full bars/reception.
The house has three thru-wall A/C units that can chill the house on even the hottest days with an enormous vaulted ceiling fan, as well as base board heaters, nice wood remote heaters for the bedrooms and of course a wood-burning fireplace and plenty of wood.
All beds have new memory foam mattresses, new high quality linens and pillows. There are plenty of thick new towels as well as four white cotton bath robes.
There is also laundry, a stainless steel grill, closet full of necessities such as over the counter standards like aspirin and toiletries such as tampons, Q-Tips, etc.
****Things to know:
The front gate may charge $41 per car for vacation renters. This is a one time fee and comes with access to the private community's many amenities: Lake beaches, pool, and much more.
You will have lake and beach access, but can't put your own boat on the lake (only homeowners). However, there are many beautiful Northern California lakes very close by for boating.
Come stay at the Manzanita House; we are sure you will enjoy it!

About the host
Hosted by Mou Chatterjee
Hi, my name is Mou and I am super excited to offer up our beloved Manzanita House for vacationing guests from all over the world! I live in Los Angeles, with my husband and two children, and two dogs. We love to travel, and appreciate unique experiences, food, and different cultures. In addition to Manzanita, we have vacation houses in Big Bear Lake and Palm Springs area as well. Should you be interested in traveling to these parts of the California, I will be happy to host you!
I am available for any questions you may have. Please feel free to call/text me for anything before, during and after your stay with us!

Why they chose this property
We fell in love with Manzanita just for its name, but loved it even more when we saw and experienced what it had to offer: surrounded by Manzanita and Pine trees, this lovely chalet is built on a 1-acre of land at the highest point in the Pine Mountain Lake area (3200 ft), allowing a 360 degree view around. In addition, The Iron Door Saloon, the Golf Course, temperate weather, the small town and many lakes around the area make it a great place to get away any time of year, with a reasonable drive from the Bay or Sacramento. And not to speak of the fact that it is only 30min drive to Yosemite!
What makes this property unique
Manzanita is situated inside the gated community of Pine Mountain Lake (PML) that offers ton of amenities such 19th Hole, Lounge, Campgrounds, Equestrian Center, and Airport, Marina Store, Lakeside Cafe & Lake, Swim Center, Tennis & Pickleball Center, Lake Lodge, Fisherman's Cove, tons of Hiking & Walking Trails, Shooting Range, Archery Range, Horseshoe Pits. Some of these are private and available to owners only, so please check before-hand for your planning purposes.
Besides these, there are tons of things to do around Groveland, such as Longhorn Saloon, Gianelli Vineyards, Yosemite Cellars, Stanislaus National Forest, Murphys, Rainbow Falls, Sonora, and last but not the least, Yosemite National Park - all within driving distance.
As soon as you come up the driveway, you are greeted with Manzanita trees on both sides, before the the house reveals itself. Stepping into the house, you will be greeted with a modern furnishing and decor. No more of those 90s stuffy furnitures, and the same old Yosemite prints on the wall. Instead, you will find a fresh, newly decorated house with original art from local painters and photographers. We hope you enjoy the clean look!
Also, you will have no immediate neighbors. It is as if you are staying in the middle of woods, with complete and total privacy, but also if needed, can access all modern amenities within driving distance.
