2025 in the books

Since I grew up with a cabin there and took my kids there we are continuing with the tradition and taking my granddaughter there. We had a blast. It was a nice area, pretty quiet area. The cabin was very clean and worked well with our group! It felt like a home away from home. We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect mountain getaway

Part of the time my grandsons (ages 10 and 12) were with me and my husband and son.They loved the games in the downstairs unit and couldn’t get enough of the lake. We all loved the mini-golf in town. After they went home, my girlfriends joined me. We loved the lake and eating on the deck. Very comfortable home!

Had a great stay here. Comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, and plenty of space for our group. Please note that downstairs unit is separate from rest of the house and has no A/C. As we did not spend much time at the cabin during the day, it was fine but can get hot when temperatures rise higher than normal. Everything was as indicated by the host on listing. Great location just minutes from “downtown” Twain Harte.All check-in/check-out instructions were clear and communicated in advance. Host was responsive and great to work with.

Perfect Place to Stay

This home is a great place to stay. I traveled with my 5 girlfriends. There is a main house upstairs with two bedrooms, living room with extra comfy couches, big TV, lots of fun games and puzzles, full kitchen with all you need to eat in. THE IN LAW QUARTERS DOWNSTAIRS IS AN UNEXPECTED BONUS!! I had my own home downstairs to retreat to when I felt like having some quiet time. The 80's themed decor felt so uplifing and nostalgic.There is a gaming table with a JOYSTICK!! My girlfiriends and I got very competitive playing Mrs. Pac-Man and Fussball. Quest house has a huge TV comfy furnature, the bed is very comfortable, I sletp better than I do at home! There is even a walk in closet converted to an office and I used that to stufy and do art.

Perfect location for a perfect long weekend with family. I have used VRBO several times and this is by far one of the top 2. The house was perfect for my family and having the play room was great. It’s the small touches that added to our time at the cabin. Shampoo/conditioner on the shower along with body wash. Make up removers and charmin bath tissue. Yap ! Not single ply like several other places we have stayed. The kitchen was amazing. Actually had some spices in the cupboard and I could not believe how clean and organized all the cupboards were. lol !! Like I said, it was the little things. It was nice to sit on the deck in the morning with a cup of coffee and watch the squirrels. We even saw a few deer. Had a great family day at the lake and Aurora (our host) made sure we had no issues when checking in to the lake. Several really good restaurants in the area with great food and cold beer !Thank you for allowing us to use your place. We all enjoyed it very much !
