Beautiful views and a nice big cabin.
House was large and well made with a great fireplace in the living room. Plenty of room for a large group. Reasonably well stocked kitchen with all the essentials including a spice drawer, some oil, coffee pot etc. Only downside was the hot tub needs some TLC. The chemicals hadn't been balanced in a while so it wasn't usable but overall still a very nice home and we would stay here again.

Great Structure with Limited Supplies and Poor Condition
Review-This house is in a nice location and the craftsmanship of the 200-year-old logs is just amazing. That’s where the fairy tale ends, when you rent a house valued on Zillow at $2.5M, you expect certain things. While we read all the prior reviews, we thought that the owners would have taken care of things but obviously not. I would not recommend this house to anyone and for the money, do not rent it. Here are some of the reasons why: The kitchen cabinets are basically empty. The Dishwasher soap dispenser doesn’t open, trays are broken and fall out of the slides. Refrigerator doors have all the shelves broken, Ice maker had a bag of ice in it partly melted and the plastic wrapped around the auger-we fixed it. Dishwasher top tray was full of dirty silverware and knives with most of all utensils in the house had dried food on them. Dishwasher mid rack is broken. Other things don’t work. There are no towels or dish cloths, hot pads. There are only 3 pint glasses, no wine glasses, limited bowls, about 12 plates and coffee cups, some knives, no microwave dishes, just sad. The carpets are dirty as other reviews have mentioned, sure there is a pool table but the cover is torn and bumpers damaged so it’s really not playable. The Foosball table is there but the balls get stuck in the returns, and you have to lift it up to get at them, it’s junk too. The Hot tub cover is shot and so saturated that it’s nearly impossible to lift off. Furniture is severely worn with holes in it. Master bed has big sag in it. Other beds not very comfortable either. Gas grill was nice but cover was frozen in the ice and snow below deck. The door to the deck was very hard to move and we found it was off the track. We fixed it and it worked great afterward. Nothing to light fireplace, no matches, no lighters, nothing and of course no firewood. Was told to go to a gas station or a store and buy it. Master bath tile is broken and heaving with sharp edges and I cut my foot on it. Be very careful at night! The floor was bulging so you need to lift it to get into the master bathroom. No cleaning supplies in kitchen, sink was disgusting, asked if there was a hair dryer said there was not one but, yes there is. Also asked about the 3 car garage but was told we could not use it and had to park in driveway. Fortunately, that was not the case because the plowing service would never have been able to take care of the snow we got. Stay away from this house.

Amazing views and location
The cabin is HUGE plenty of room for 12, hot tub was nice and hot upon arrival and was very nice. Heated floors were super comfy. One of us had to park at bottom of drive but they rented a rear wheel drive and it snowed a ton. If snow is in the forecast get a 4-wheel drive or you maybe walking up the drive.

6/10 Okay

Architectural beautiful house but needs a lot of updating.
The house is beautiful with large wood beams, nice layout, and a great location BUT the house needs a lot updating. The carpet is nasty and stained, furniture upstairs and downstairs is torn and worn, one of the three light bulbs over the kitchen island worked but we could not change them bc they had been glued in. We were told by Vacasa that the owner wouldn’t allow them to be replaced. The blind blinds in the house were not cut to fit the windows correctly, pool sticks was missing tips, the hot tub was green and low in water (Vacasa did send someone out right away to clean and add water to the hot tub and was told I would get a credit but haven’t yet). The outdoor chairs on the ground level by the hot tub need to be thrown away. They are a safety hazard. I wish I could attach pictures that I took of them and some of other things. The kitchen is lacking dishes to cook with and the knives in a nice looking knife block would not even cut a lime. To have paid almost 4,800 for 5 nights this should have been a luxury mansion.
