The Chill & Grill Cozy Cottage at Cedar Creek Lake

Fun getaway by Cedar Creek Lake. Fantastic place for work or play. This recently updated cottage has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and sleeps 8! By the way – no bunk beds, making it more convenient for grown up get togethers.
Huge, paved driveway to park your truck(s) and boat(s). Covered parking for 2 cars. Large, covered patios to enjoy the outdoors. There are 8 rocking chairs for rocking, relaxing, and reading. Outside table seats 8. Upstairs you’ll find a balcony for soaking up the sun. There’s firewood and fire pit to roast hotdogs or toast marshmallows. Outdoor games are cornhole and bocce ball.
Inside is a large open concept living, dining, kitchen area. Breakfast bar seats 4 people and table seats 4. The table will expand with the leaf to seat 8. The leaf is inside the table. We have games, cards, poker chips, dominos and puzzles inside a chest of drawers.
The large kitchen has a double oven, 2 refrigerators, dishwasher and gas stove, microwave, and everything you need to cook a big meal for the family. There are pots, pans, dishes, etc. Small appliances are hand mixer, blender, crockpot, coffee maker, toaster.
Big TV in living area and TVs in the 2 of the bedrooms. All are hooked up to cable and there’s access to Netflix, Hulu or your favorite streaming station. We’ve added a DVD/Blue-ray player too in case you want to bring your own movies.
Bedroom arrangement: Lower level has 1 bedroom with king size bed. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms. The larger upstairs room has 1 queen bed and a daybed with trundle. The smaller upstairs bedroom has 2 twin beds. We’ve added a small desk if you need a little workspace.
There are linens on all beds and towels are in the bathrooms.
We are a 10 min drive from the grocery store. There’s a Brookshire’s in Seven Points and one in Malakoff.

1st Monday Trade Days in Canton (about 45-mile drive)
Weekend flea markets in Seven points
Triple N winery (5 minutes away)— contact them for their weekend music line up
Underground MX in Kemp-motocross-25 minutes away
Microbrewery-one in Seven Points and 1 in Athens

So quiet and peaceful. We could’ve spent the entire weekend outside on the porch. Pictures don’t do the kitchen justice, very spacious and beautiful. Some of the most comfy mattresses we’ve ever slept on.

Fabulous weekend!

Very cozy, love the big kitchen and very well stocked. Grilling was perfect with all the outdoor furniture very relaxing for a great weekend getaway! Enjoyed the games with the at home feel of the place! Host was so sweet, communication was great! Fabulous weekend wish we could have stayed long!

Great getaway place

This property was perfect for our weekend getaway. The place has been beautifully updated. There was plenty of room for the six of us that stayed there. The master shower is huge. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was like a dream kitchen with plenty of counter space and modern appliances, plus it had two refrigerators! I will definitely stay there again. I highly recommend this place!

Ladies Best Friends Canton Trip

We had the absolute best time at this property!! The place is fantastic and the owner is wonderful! Everything was perfect , beds were super comfortable, and bathrooms were so clean and kitchen was perfect! The outdoor patio was wonderful for having morning coffee in the rocking chairs and in the evenings we would enjoy games at the picnic table !! Canyon trade days was about 40 min away but this place was perfect to accommodate our group and well worth the drive!! Thank you!! Perfect ladies trip!!
