We had an awesome stay. Lots of space and loved the outdoor space. Highly recommend for family getaways. The children loved going to the beach and water morning and night! Very relaxing
Property was clean, well-equipped / supplied, and generally very well-maintained (except for a few spots on the deck needing repair). Views and location were lovely, and the care taking in providing a thorough and accurate online listing was welcome.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful vacation cottage with us in Kensington, PEI. We had a wonderful stay and truly appreciated the charming, cozy atmosphere. The cottage was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and we especially loved the lovely beach-themed décor.Since we had our own vehicles, the location was perfect for our family. It was conveniently located near the airports and provided a great central base for shopping, sightseeing, and exploring the island. It made planning our day trips easy and enjoyable. We all loved making use of the BBQ, the large backyard, the natural waterfront, the firepit, and, of course, the beautiful sunsets. Having direct water access for our pleasure boat was an unexpected and wonderful surprise that added so much to our experience. It was also great to have access to the community centre, especially the pool and game room, which everyone enjoyed. The spacious and comfortable bedrooms spread over three different levels were essential and greatly appreciated. They provided the perfect amount of privacy and personal space for our family of 6 adults, 1 baby, and 3 toddlers. One small area for improvement would be the kitchen, dining, and living room space, which felt somewhat small for our large family and wasn’t particularly kid-friendly. However, we managed very well and, most importantly, had a fantastic time together. The patio/deck is also quite basic and could benefit from better outdoor dining furnishings and amen
We enjoyed a beautiful stay - very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with pots/utensils etc. Exactly as advertised, gorgeous spot with breathtaking views.

This home was perfect for 14 of us travelling from a small Ontario village. Would stay again for sure!
We had a great time during our 1 week stay. The Hebrides area is fantastic. The cottage is just as pictured and the pool was great for the kids. Super close to lots of fun stuff (13 mins to Cavendish). We never had to drive longer than 30 minutes and we went to lots of places. We were 6 adults and 3 kids with lots of space.
I picked this location based on its proximity to Cavendish, restaurants and golf courses. Also, friends who have a place on PEI, recommended kit.it for fsmil
The perfect location for a fabulous getaway. We were a party of 6 women who travel from Ontario, NB and NS for a reunion. The chalet had all the amenities you could ask for. We enjoyed fires on the beach and watched the amazing sunsets on the deck.
We had a wonderful time - a family group with kids and adults spending a week on the island. The home is spacious and well equipped. The location is top notch. Friendly community. Glorious sunsets. Excited to visit again one day soon!
Cottage was cozy and clean. Our view and sunsets were amazing. A little windy at times but overall very well maintained and equipped with almost everything you need. A lot of stairs not a great place for seniors.

Thank you so much for your review! We would love to host you again in the future.
We had a very nice stay at this property. It was very clean upon arrival. The kitchen had lots of utensil, pots, pans etc. The beds were comfy and the black out shades in the master were great. They also had some beach toys and lots of beach towels which was great for the kids. Wish they had some children friendly dishes/cups. Also wish they had a fire pit, but were able to make our own on the beach to make s’mores.
We did experience an off putting “septic-ish” smell in the basement 2 of the days we were there. I emailed the property management company to let them know, but heard nothing back. Luckily opening the windows seemed to help.
The location was great, so close to Cavendish and also to Kensington. And the neighbours were lovely, super friendly. We enjoyed the pool (although it was a bit chilly) and were disappointed that the tennis court didn’t exist anymore.
Overall, a great PEI vacation.

Thank you for the review! As for the septic smell, you didn't notify us until 830pm the night before your departure. If you would have let us know sooner, we would have sent someone over right away. We have not had this issue since, so we sincerely apologize that this happened during your stay.
This is a beautiful home that was great for our multi-generational family vacation. There was enough room for everyone to gather while also affording everyone the space to spread out.
-BEDROOMS: all good sized with comfortable beds, quality linens, and practical bathrooms on each floor. The layout of the home is well designed for groups and very well stocked (utensils, appliances, towels, etc.)
-OUTDOORS: breathtaking views and incredible sunsets from the patio. We loved walking along the water looking for shells and watching the fishing boats. The owners have added comfortable outdoor seating areas which we enjoyed for morning coffee, evening wine, watermelon eating and shell sorting. They have also equipped the home with quality outdoor lawn games which we took full advantage of on the large, grassy lot.
LOCATION: convenient to Stanley Bridge for fresh seafood, Cavendish for kids activities (Sandspit & water park) and amazing beaches and golf (all within about 20-25 minutes once you are off of the subdivision which takes an additional few minutes to exit (dirt road).
HEBRIDES AMENITIES: the golfers in our group really enjoyed using the 9hole pitch&putt during our stay. What a bonus!!! This, along with the tennis and heated pool, were a main reason why we originally chose this property, but we were somewhat disappointed to learn upon our arrival that the pool only opened on July 1st, and that there was actually no tennis - the court had overgrown and all nets and fences removed… (don’t know if it will eventually be resurrected?) We of course did not let this dampen our vacation spirits, but would have been good to know ahead of time to manage everyone’s expectations. When we did get to use the pool on the last day of our trip it was great!
This property is really special, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a waterfront North shore property close to golf, beaches, and seafood, especially if travelling in a small group.
If I could offer any suggestions for what could make this property EVEN MORE amazing:
- include PEI Park pass(es) in the rental
- include clubhouse dates in the listing & update for available amenities
- add steps/ramp to beach area
- add watercraft to the rental to enjoy on the bay (kayaks/canoe)?
- if fires are allowed on the beach, add a pit/ring.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us!! If any of the above are added we will certainly be back!
