## Neighborhood

Le Petit-Quevilly is a commune bordering Rouen in the Normandy region of France. Part of the Rouen conurbation, it is one of the major urban centres on the left bank of the Seine.

1. History
Like many towns in Normandy, Le Petit-Quevilly has a rich history. In the past, the town was marked by the presence of medieval abbeys and monasteries, notably Saint-Georges Abbey. The town was also an important place for pilgrimages, and its name ‘Quevilly’ is thought to come from the Latin word ‘civitas’ (the city).

2. Architectural heritage
Petit-Quevilly is home to a number of historic monuments, including the twelfth-century chapel of Saint-Julien, a remarkable example of Norman Romanesque architecture. This chapel is listed as a Historic Monument and bears witness to the region's medieval past. The town also boasts a number of industrial buildings that bear witness to its working-class past, particularly in the 19th century, with the rise of the textile and chemical industries.

3. Economy and industry
Historically, Petit-Quevilly has been heavily industrialised, particularly in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Today, the town's economy is diversified, but retains an industrial character, particularly in the chemical, logistics and materials processing sectors. Its proximity to Rouen also makes it a residential town for many Rouen workers.

4. Cultural and sporting life
Petit-Quevilly is famous for its football club, Quevilly Rouen Métropole (QRM), which plays in Ligue 2 and attracts many fans from the region. The club has achieved several French Cup triumphs, making its mark on the history of football in Normandy. In terms of culture, the town hosts a number of events and festivals, as well as cultural facilities such as the François Truffaut multimedia library and theatres.

5. Access and transport
As part of the Rouen conurbation, Petit-Quevilly benefits from good public transport links, with bus and metro services providing easy access to Rouen and neighbouring towns. Its position along the Seine and its proximity to major roads (in particular the A13 motorway to Paris) also facilitate access to other parts of Normandy.

Le Petit-Quevilly therefore combines a rich historical past with a dynamic modern life, thanks in particular to its cultural and sporting facilities and its immediate proximity to Rouen.

## Transit

Easy car parking thanks to the flat's own car park. There are also plenty of free parking spaces in the surrounding area.

In Le Petit-Quevilly, several means of transport are available to make it easier to get around locally and to the surrounding areas:

1. Bus
The Astuce network (Réseau de transports en commun de la Métropole Rouen Normandie) serves Petit-Quevilly with several bus routes. This network links Petit-Quevilly to the other communes in the Rouen conurbation, including Rouen, Grand-Quevilly, Sotteville-lès-Rouen, etc.
The main bus routes in the commune include:
Route F1: Rouen - Petit-Quevilly - Grand-Quevilly - Saint-Étienne-du-Rouvray.
Route 6: Rouen - Petit-Quevilly - Petit-Couronne.
Route 32: Service within the municipality, linking various districts.

2. Metro
The Rouen metro passes through Petit-Quevilly and serves several stations in the town:
François-Truffaut station
Jean-Jaurès station
Saint-Julien station
The metro provides quick access to the centre of Rouen and other towns in the conurbation.

3. Self-service bikes
The Rouen metropolitan area offers a self-service bicycle hire service called Cy'clic, enabling residents of Petit-Quevilly to hire bikes for short journeys. The bicycles are available at a number of stations in the area, making it easy and convenient to get around in an environmentally-friendly way.

4. Car and car-sharing
For those who prefer to travel by car, Petit-Quevilly is well served by major roads, notably the D938 and D6015, which provide easy access to Rouen and neighbouring towns. Car-sharing is also encouraged in the region, with platforms such as Blablacar and Karos.

5. Taxis and VTCs
Taxi and VTC services (Uber, Kapten, etc.) are available in the region for personalised journeys.

6. Train
Although there is no direct train station in Petit-Quevilly, Rouen Rive-Droite station is nearby. From here, you can catch trains to Paris, Le Havre, Caen and other major cities.
By combining these means of transport, the residents of Petit-Quevilly can get around efficiently in the Rouen metropolitan area and beyond.

Maison correcte dans un mauvais quartier

Jolie Maison correspondant a nos attentes. Bon enplacement car Proche tram.
