The Cottage is a 2 minute walk to a Hudson River estuary known as the Kinderhook Creek. The cottage itself has the comforts of a warm and cozy pellet stove, a whirlpool tub, A/C for those warm days and the front porch has two ceiling fans for those warm evenings when you want to sit outside and see the night sky.

Welcome to the Red Bridge Cottage! For the past 2 1/2 years I have totally renovated this adorable 1926 Sears Cottage known to Sears model home enthusiasts' as "The Winona". I tried my best to keep the cottage true to its beginnings by salvaging the plaster walls, bringing back the white oak flooring and although all the windows have been replaced-the original style was maintained.
As for me, I am a retired Women's Health Nurse Practitioner with three awesome grown sons! My hobbies include riding my E-bike on the rail trail, knitting, enjoying time with family and friends, walking/hiking at Oom's Conservation area and as a former ski patroller looking forward to getting back to skiing.
This is now my second vacation rental property. What I quickly learned with my first, is people just want to getaway, cook together and explore with their loved ones, families and friends. This area has so much to offer them from spending time in nature to discovering cool shops and restaurants in nearby areas such as Hudson NY and Great Barrington, MA. One of my very favorite Hudson shops is "The Spotty Dog" -a renovated old time quaint firehouse that is now a bar and book shop. Browse the great selection of books while sipping a glass of wine, a brew or a warm cup of tea.
Lastly, I created this space with all of you in mind to rejuvenate and recharge!
