This is a large 'typical' French property, ideal for 6 persons situated in a small commune on the outskirts of Le Crotoy. The house is all on one level and has everything that is needed for a stay, washing machine/dryer, oven/hob, larder fridge with small top freezer, dishwasher, all cleaning materials, ample tea towels/cleaning cloths, two coffee machines. Large parking area, enough for two cars and a very large grassed fully enclosed rear garden ideal for children/pets. At the time of our stay there was no Wifi and only terrestrial TV but we were told that Wifi would be fitted within a few weeks. The house was warm and part refurbished with new bathroom/Shower, heating, windows etc. Shower was amazing with hot water on demand. All bathrooms towels were provided.Communication with the owners was excellent and any texts were answered by return. The surrounding area is a walkers, cyclists and bird watchers paradise! Just across the road is a nature reserve, all very flat with easy access, we just wish we had taken bicycles to explore more. Le Crotoy is an 8 minute drive away with lots of shops, restaurants and a wonderful seafront. Le Valery sur Somme is a 20 minute drive and again a lovely town and seaside area. Try out the VeloRail (chemin de fer de la Baie to somme), we really enjoyed it and very easy for all abilities. We had a lovely stay albeit the weather was against us with the added bonus that the drive from Calais was short.
