Plenty of room. only 5 of us, could have been 10 or 12. Beautiful setting, Has pretty steep climb getting to cabin especially the drive way entrance very steep. But worth it. Our 2 w drive made it just find. We would stay here again for sure, Also very close to all activities. We had everything we needed in cabin. All 5 of us was very happy with our stay! Great kitchen, clean rooms, washer/dryer & a nice friendly host. Happy Happy Happy as Phil R would say.
Absolutely lovely stay. Plenty of beds and comfortable rooms. Well stocked kitchen (pots, pans, utensils, dishes). Large fireplaces were great for roasting marshmallows and staying cozy. Family loved the hot tub too!
Excellent chalet ski cabin. Completely furnished and a n00k in the loft of wonderful books. If you need any type of kitchen equipment, it is there. Great property and we will be back.
We had a very nice stay in this cabin. It is a very short drive to ober. There was plenty of sleeping space and the pool table was fun. We liked that there were 2 kitchen type areas. The hot tub was clean.

We had an absolutely fantastic time, the home is exactly what we were looking for and couldn’t of asked for anything more perfect. Just a quick note we we’re enjoying coffee in the morning and had a bear come right down the side of the house it scared us to death…we all calmly got inside and the kids were excited (what a cool/great not to mention scary experience) Bear Alley is no lie . Again thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home we look forward to staying with you in the future.

Hello Alain, we are very sorry you had such an experience at the cabin. We take our reviews very seriously and have fired the previous cleaners and replaced them with very responsible cleaners with great attention to detail and have had much happier guests since. We did offer to reimburse the cleaning fees for you that you graciously declined. We would like to however give you a free stay for your next trip to the Smoky’s to make it up to you and hope you would give us the opportunity to prove what we are promising to you. Really look forward to making this right for you as we do believe in our guests happiness.
With your permission I have also pasted your response to us for future guests to see:
Good morning,
Just by you offering to make up for the inconvenience is good enough for me. I know that you’re not there to supervise the way your property is being taking care of, and The reason why I didn’t keep complaining about everything that I saw wrong with the place it was because I didn’t think it was Worth it, we were going to be there only For a couple of days, and I want to make it as Pleasant as possible for the family. At the end of the day I took them there because they have never seen snow, and I was happy that they got to see plenty of it.
So, the photos are a little misleading. It's not quite a luxurious, spacious and secluded as I thought.
That said, it was still a great value. Everything was as described and the location is fantastic. We DID see bears. We had zero issues. The hosts emailed each day to ask if there was anything that we needed or anything that we could do.
Bottom line: Money well spent and I'd absolutely stay here again. Probably will, in fact.
Pro tip: you can easily drive up the hill to Ober Gatlinburg. It's about 5 mins. We had low expectations, but our 11 year old boy loved it. We spent the better part of the day up there. There is a lot to do. Parking was cheaper than downtown. Then, we took the (sky) tram downtown and had dinner and spent some time, and then took the tram back up. Best bang for the buck for the whole trip!
Communication was very clear and quick. Wonderful location being so close to downtown Gatlinburg. Bear Ally definitely delivered on its name sake, we saw several bears! We also appreciated the hot tub to relax after hikes. We would book again!
Host was tremendously helpful and in constant communication with us. The cabin is great and easily accessible. We had plenty of room to spread out and it had all utensils and kitchen products we could need. No complaints whatsoever!
We have no complaints about this property. We recently found our brother who was adopted 13 years ago, so this was our 1st Christmas together in 13 years!! This property was wonderful gorgeous and roomy for us. The property management was great!!
Easy to rent. Hot as hades when we got there. Temp set on 85

Sorry about that Robbie. We had just taken in the property and listed it before the holidays. We just had the place deep cleaned so if you choose to return I’m sure you’d be happy.
