La Belle Maison

La Belle Maison is a magnificent and welcoming home, steeped in over 300 years of history. Your front door is directly beneath the Virginia creeper-covered pergola. A short walk across the lawn leads to a beautiful terrace shaded by graceful willows at the water's edge, where the lake is filled with lotus and water lilies, and there are boats to explore. A stone fireplace sits beneath the pergola, perfect for barbecues or simply enjoying a cosy fire on a pleasant evening. Inside, you enter the kitchen/living area immediately. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the living room features an ornate fireplace. It's a cosy space to sit in during the winter, but the most striking feature is the picture window overlooking the tree-lined driveway and the villa's imposing antique beams. A breathtaking surprise awaits those who ascend the corner staircase to the mezzanine master bedroom, with its magnificent space enhanced by windows overlooking the lake, pond, and gardens. This large room boasts high, pointed ceilings and beautiful oak beams. At the far end of the bedroom, the door opens onto another world. This level houses a children's bedroom with lake views and the master bathroom, equipped with a walk-in rain shower. A staircase then leads to the third floor, where you can sleep under the stars in a cosy attic bedroom with windows overlooking the sky and gardens. You'd almost think you were outside!
Easily accommodating 7 people, the cottage can be combined with the La Belle Maison guest room, which has a connecting interior door allowing the addition of another large bedroom, as well as a large bathroom with a whirlpool bath and rain shower. An additional living room with a fireplace can also be set up to create another bedroom, allowing the entire property to accommodate 9 people.
