Home on canal

House was well stocked. Enjoyed our stay. Husband loved fishing off the dock. Couldn't use the pool as it was too cold. Solar heater was turned off and it took a week for the pool guy to come out and look at it. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay in Cape Coral! The screened in pool area is very nice and quiet and was the perfect place to spend time with our morning coffee and evening cocktails! The canal makes for some interesting entertainment with fish/bird watching and the occasional boat passing by. The kitchen had everything we needed. The mattresses were comfortable and the fans were appreciated. My only call-outs are that the living room furniture needs to be replaced, and a few hooks near the showers for towels would be helpful. Other than that we really enjoyed everything about this house. Thank you for sharing it with us! :)

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Roomy 3-bedroom with good pool and patio. The Turnkey gentleman I spoke to over the course of the 3 weeks was trying very hard to accommodate the various items that needed repair. There were many things that need upkeep. Pool area was totally dark until I called them and they came and fixed spot lighting. Screens on pool area had rips in them and the screen doors didn't all lock (safety and security. The master bath shower needs updating, little ants appeared after a few days. All the fans in the place shook and were very loud so you couldn't use them at night. I'm not an A/C fan so it was disappointing. Guest bath ended up with huge leak. All the service people were very professionally, but it was upsetting to have so many things go wrong and have repair people coming and going. This is the first VRBO I've ever stayed in where there wasn't even salt & pepper. There was one garbage can liner in each room including the kitchen. It would be in the owners best interest to keep trash liners to encourage maintenance. The street out front was pretty busy too, plus they resurfaced it during our last week. (We know you couldn't have predicted that). Again, the help tried hard, but it was a 7 on a scale of 1-10 for VRBO.

Nice trip

This was a good property that provided a comfortable base for a trip with 3 female friends. The common areas were great, along with the outdoor lanai. It’s a little frustrating to have to pay extra for “solar heating” for the pool, however. And the property needs a little more upkeep. But all in all, it was a good place to stay from which to explore the Ft. Myers area. If you stay here, don’t miss Lobster Lady, both for a dine-in experience, takeout and purchase of an excellent selection of fish.

the good and the bad

WE LOVED the screened in pool & patio area, the new grill, large dining room table for games & meals. WE DID NOT LIKE no HD TV, no grill brush, no sponges, no hand soap, no night lights. knives need sharpening, front bedroom dresser has 4 drawer fronts but only one drawer, front door latch sticks, circuit breaker tripped for whole back wall & outdoor outlets including pool solar heater.

LOVED the new grill, the screened-in pool & patio area, the large dining room table for meals & games, plenty of dishes. DID NOT LIKE: -the TV does not have HD -no sponges, no hand soap (two little sample bars were very old & cracked), no night lights, no grill brush. -knives all need sharpening -front bedroom dresser only has 1 actual drawer; the other 3 drawer fronts have no drawer behind them. -front screen door latch sticks when exiting -circuit breaker was tripped for whole back wall including solar pool heater upon our arrival.

Great views and location!!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful canal front property. The cleanliness of the property was immaculate. My kids enjoyed the pool and fishing from the dock every day! We found it hard to leave the relaxing atmosphere and the neighborhood is really quiet. Highly recommend staying here, as we will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our time in Cape Coral. The house was comfortable and roomy. The lanai and pool area was very nice with a beautiful and relaxing view. We had a tile issue and Turnkey was very prompt to fix it. The area was great for walking and biking.

Winter escape

This was our second year at this location. Once again, we found it ideal for two couples, plenty of space to give everyone privacy when needed. The pool area and patio gave us the opportunity to enjoy the warm Florida weather that we came down here for. No surprises, exactly what was shown in the photos. Grocery stores and restaurants are quite accessible from this location The parks at the end of Pelican Blvd were an extra bonus

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived at the house about 2:30pm after traveling, first by car, then by planes and car again. We were disappointed to find that, even though the house was obviously ready for guests, we could not access the house until exactly 3:00pm. The house was overall clean besides a cockroach that we found. There were some cosmetic things, like gross shower grout and a few cracked tiles, that we were surprised by, but the bedrooms were large and very comfortable. Everything we needed for living away from home for a week was easily found. The family room furniture was not very comfortable. The covers that were on them, presumably to help keep the furniture clean, were ill fitting and slid off as soon as you sat down. This furniture was not comfortable. One morning, while having coffee, I was shocked to have a guy walking around in the covered pool area. This was never mentioned in any communications that someone may be on the property, especially during early morning hours. Had I been staying alone I may have called the police. It was quite disturbing as I had checked the provided iPad for scheduled maintenance and none was listed for this house.
