About this property

Peaceful fresh water canal home with heated pool. Incredible Value.

This is the house you want to rent!!!! We are residential remodelers from Minnesota and have owned and rented the home for 9 years. We stay at the property for several months in the winter and are constantly making improvements for ourselves and our guests. We have a well stocked home and do not charge for electricity! We have great reviews and strive to make your stay extraordinary.

The house has an open Concept Kitchen with stainless steel appliances ,Cambria Counter tops with island, new washer and dryer. The pool is heated and is enclosed by a large Lanai with outdoor dining area, gas fire pit with seating area and we have a pool fence if needed for children. We have a cement dock with lounge chairs and fishing poles with tackle in the garage.

This is a very quiet neighborhood and is close to shopping, grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants, and near Matlacha fishing village. The house is fully furnished and has a large new gas Weber Grill, beach lounge chairs, and coolers. It is a short drive to Punta Gorda, Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel, and Naples.

This home is located close to Sandoval and Surfside shops in SW Cape Coral.

Max occupancy is 6 people.

Electricity is included in the rate which is not typical in this market. 6% sales tax and 5 1/2 % tourist tax & exit cleaning fee are added to your quote.

Peace and quiet getaway

It was a wonderful stay, very clean, quiet and close to town. The home had everything you needed if you happened to forget to bring something. I would 100% stay there again.

Lovely home and fun pool!

This home was very clean and had a lovely lanai and salt water pool. It had many amenities in the kitchen for cooking. We enjoyed the outside space and sunset views. The fire pit was fun for making s'mores.

Amazing family vacay

I can’t brag enough about this location, the house, the amenities on site, and the ease of communication with the owners. My family of four loved staying here and would not hesitate to stay at this property anytime we’re in the Fort Myers/Cape Coral area. The house had so many of the things we needed and a lot of wants as well, from everyday use items in the kitchen to the “oh I wish I would’ve brought that” and it was there item(s).

Great stay and all the comforts of home

My family and I had to leave our home for a number of weeks while storm damage was repaired, so we decided to search the area for vacation rental to stay in for the time. We were very pleased and happy with our stay here and would recommend it to any family or friends coming to our area. Although we were staying at the home because of displacement for a period, it was like a vacation and had a lot of happy memories made in it. Very grateful to have found it and been accommodated as we were.

Nice home in Cape Coral

The house is modern and clean with everything we needed. Nicely remodeled with new appliances. An actual heated pool instead of just a solar cover! We saw a couple otters in the canal out back while we were grilling dinner on the Weber gas grill. Cable TV in every room. The instructions for our arrival were very clear with no issues. This was my first time staying in Cape Coral. We went to Fort Myers beach, a couple Sox and Twins ballgames, lots of mini golf etc. There's plenty of local dining and shopping options. Overall a great stay!

Nice Place and Quiet Neighborhood

The overall stay was very enjoyable. However, the location was not as convenient as other stays in the Cape Coral area. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped with whatever you could possibly need. The checkout process was quite extensive, and nothing like we've ever been asked to do when staying at other Vrbo properties. The laundry room was quite noisy and could not be run at night due to the adjacent bedroom. We really appreciated all of the beach gear, but could have used more buckets, shovels, etc for the beach. The pool area was nice, but some of the chairs were old and rusty. Thank you for sharing your property with us!

Perfect Family Home

My family of 5 had a wonderful time at this very comfortable and clean home! Beautiful decor, coastal casual, new kitchen is very pretty, had everything we needed. Plenty of space for my husband and I and our three teenage daughters. My oldest said it’s her favorite house we’ve stayed in! We loved the lanai and pool area, perfect for morning coffee, outdoor meals, and night swimming. Close enough for a beach day at Fort Myers Beach and Sanibel. Sad to see the destruction from Ian, but great to see some of the businesses that were able to reopen. We would definitely recommend this home to other families. Lexi, the property manager was so kind and helpful! We had an unexpected plumbing issue and she was able to have it fixed within a few hours. We hope to stay again for our yearly trip to visit family in the area.

Thank you for the great house. We took our grandson, his wife and 1 year old baby. They have never been to a beach or even to far out of Arkansas. They loved the pool and the the fishing spot. The grandson was out fishing right before dawn and seen an alligator. My husband is hard to please and always complains about the price of things. When we got there he looked around and sit down and said yep..money well spent. He loved the house and said I want to but 5his house. We loved it so much and would definitely come and stay again. A Wedding Trip

So, I had to contemplate whether or not to leave a review.. because if I tell anyone how much we enjoyed our stay then other people will want to come! Oh well.. So, I'm from Ft. Myers and my brother was getting married which is what brought us down this time..but we will be returning periodically to visit my family..and we'll be staying right here. My brother and husband looked so handsome in their suits on the big day, and everyone had a restful night's sleep. Nice and quiet, super clean, nothing was mangled or broken or coming apart and ran down like some other properties I've been in. Very nice, very nice place. Everything we needed. We ran down to Matlacha for a bite, look through the galleries, and the return poolside was a much appreciated respite from the Pennsylvania cold..we sat and contemplated our move down south. We will certainly be returning..you let us know if you ever want to sell ;) But really, thank you for sharing your place with us.

What a wonderful time we had staying at this house. They had everything you could think of. The whole house has been updated. The pool was perfect and enjoyed all of the outdoor seating. We all agreed that we could stay here again. There were plenty of pool toys and beach supplies. The only thing needed is more outdoor lighting around the pool. Once the sun went down, it was mostly dark. We had such a fun and relaxing time here. Thank you for making the house so enjoyable!

Wundervoller und entspannter Urlaub in Cape Coral

Wir hatten 5 wundervolle Tage in Cape Coral und haben das Haus und die Gegend sehr genossen.Es war unser allererstes Ferienhaus in den USA und wir wurden direkt überzeugt :-) Das Haus ist sehr modern und mit allen Annehmlichkeiten, die man sich so wünscht, ausgestattet. Wir haben nichts vermisst. Die Lage ist einfach fantastisch - es war sehr ruhig und direkt an einem Kanal gelegen. Unser Sohn hat es geliebt dort sein Eis zu essen und Schildkröten zu beobachten. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber, sowie der Check-in liefen auch unkompliziert. Wir können das Haus auf jeden Fall uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen und würden sehr gern wiederkommen.

Wonderful home!

This home was one of the most well appointed places we have rented. They thought of everything. Beds were comfy and rooms were roomy. Plenty of amenities, towels, etc. There was even a fully stocked spice rack and cooking oils. We will definitely rent here again! The pool was in the sun the entire afternoon. The evening sunset was lovely over the trees. The owners are truly “Midwest Nice” by having there home complete with everything you need! Thank you!

Beautiful rental

House was as advertised. My family loved the house, pool and all the amenities. Our kids loved that they had their own TV’s in each room with access to various streaming apps.The beach material provided was a lifesaver. The tent, towels, chairs, bags, and beach mat were greatly appreciated. If we didn’t have these our trips to the beach would not have been as enjoyable, great additions. If we are ever back in Cape Coral we would definitely return to this property, and recommend to other visitors.

Great Cape Coral Stay

The house was very clean upon arrival and had all of the extras we wished for in a vacation home. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool area and the beds were extremely comfortable. The furniture, decor, and ammenities the property provided made it a very updated and enjoyable home to stay in. We were able to view a lot of wildlife in the canal and the sunsets were fabulous. We would recommend this property to anyone looking to rent in the Cape Coral area!

In 2022, we remodeled the Kitchen with custom cabinetry, large island, Cambria Counter tops , and enhanced lighting throughout the Family Room and Kitchen. We have installed new hurricane windows in 2025. We spend two months a year at the house so we keep it well stocked for us and our customers.

Why they chose this property

We selected this home for its location and because it had previously been used as a vacation rental with a great track record. We love the sunset on the canal and the wild life. The birds, fish and other wild life are fun to watch from the Lanai. Mornings are extra special sitting out on the Lanai listening to the birds sing.

What makes this property unique

Very quiet area with Heated Pool, Canal with wild life, close proximity to shopping and eating establishments. It is just a short drive to Fort Myers Beach and Sanibel Island. Walking distance to local eateries and shopping. Free Wi-Fi. We update the house regularly and constantly are replacing items and refreshing the house.
