About this property

Frankie’s Waterfront House at Indian Lake! The nicest VRBO on the lake!

Be our guest at the sister house of Phoebe’s lakefront home. This wonderful place was recently, fully renovated by a prominent Columbus architect. No expense or detail was spared. Open first-floor layout with gorgeous views of open water. Enjoy our outside screened-in patio with a couch, table, and chairs. Outside enjoy a gas grill with propane overlooking the water. We try to maintain full propane but in the event it’s empty, there is a refill station at Lakeview Hardware. (10 minutes away) Send us the receipt for full reimbursement. You will not find a nicer home or a better view of the lake. Come see for yourself! You can also stay at Phoebes Lakefront house 8 minutes away and also lakefront!

Rent a boat and hook up to our sea wall with dock cleats. Bumpers for your boat are required.

-Limit three small cars or two larger cars at this property. If this rule is broken you can be asked to leave due to upsetting our neighbor's space. They will let us know. Additional public parking available at Moundwood Boat Ramp.

-If boating, the no-wake zone is 100 yards from our seawall. Please respect this rule as if it's broken it affects all our neighbors and you can be asked to leave. They will let us know! We also have a shared dock with a sister property next door. Please be courteous with our neighbors:)

-Our neighbor’s peace is of utmost importance to us and this will be appreciated by them and us. Please be respectful and treat them like you would your own neighbors.

Pet friendly home, but neighbors didn’t appreciate barking. House was not very clean, so we did spend a morning cleaning and washing all bedding. View was INCREDIBLE, and neighbors were very friendly.

Bridal party

Booked for my daughter’s bridal party for her wedding at the lake. House was beautiful! Girls loved it and enjoyed the stay. Only downside which we were aware of was parking. There is not much space for more than 2 cars but we managed.

Parking was very inconvenient. The neighbors complained loudly when we pulled to the front and were visibly loading the cars. The same neighbors ran their power washer for an hour on Friday. The refrigerator was leaking when we got there. I contacted the owner to make sure they were aware. He said it happens frequently and to shove a towel under it. Everyone hurt their hand turning the front door knob at least once. We all have a matching bruised knuckle. The master suite was huge but the rest of the rooms were so small.

Fabulous house, spectacular sunsets!

The property was excellently appointed, everything is modern and updated! The house has a great flair and style, with well thought-out lighting and decor. This house has everything you need appliance-wise to make your stay comfortable, with a great kitchen if you want to cook, lots of restaurants/diners if you don't, and the screened in porch is very nice and comfortable! Lake view is amazing! Had a great time!

Quality everywhere! From appliances to furniture also The layout is great! Views of lake are suburb. spacious enough to be comfortable together or have a couple gathering spots. Nice space for fire pit gathering as well! We loved spending the holiday !

This is a really classy well appointed property literally 20 feet from the lake. Great kitchen

Aside from being an upscale property, you are only 20 feet from the lake. You can enjoy sitting in chairs by the lake or sitting in a screened in porch on a comfortable couch. Great kitchen and master bedroom suite with a spectacular view of Indian Lake.

Beautiful house & great location!

The house was beautiful & clean and the perfect size for our group of 8, plus 3 small dogs. The screened in back porch was definitely a favorite for enjoying the gorgeous lake views, without having to worry about mosquitos. The host offered helpful tips on places to visit and bait tips for catfish fishing (hot dogs rolled in kool-aid powder), which worked great! We will definitely book again!

Thanksgiving Gather

Very nice house. Beautiful view of lake. I was however a little disappointed with a few things. The fireplace did not work, no shampoo, dish soap, or paper towel provided as indicated. We thought the house could have been cleaner overall and the parking was very difficult to get in and out.

Beautiful lake cottage

Cottage has been beautifully remodeled. VRBO description says is has 4 bedrooms. It actually has three bedrooms and a loft area. There were no wash clothes to be found. Hostess resolved this the next day, which was very nice. We had a wonderful time! Great view.

Fantastic, clean and cozy cottage stay.

Prior to booking I reached out to phill in regards to only being able to stay two nights and not three, phill was incredibly quick to respond and help assist me. This was a girls trip with some close work friends. As soon as I walked through the front door of the cottage I knew it was going to be fabulous. The cottage was beyond clean and was literally spotless. Phill has the cottage decorated so perfect! The view of the lake was amazing and the screened in porch was wonderful even with the cold and wind. The fireplace did not work when we got there and again Phill quickly responded and had someone there to help fix it incredibly quick. The beds and linen were very comfortable as well. We will be back again for sure! Thanks again Phill for a wonderful stay.

The house and location was beautiful! The kitchen was well-appointed. The house was very clean. We LOVED the dock/outside space - the location right on the water is spectacular. The sunsets were amazing. It was so hot, though - pretty tough sleeping until we opened the windows and used the fan that was in the master bedroom closet. It was 90 degrees and only dropped to 70s at night - so guessing the air conditioner just couldn't keep up. The owner was also very flexible with check-in time since we were a little early. Parking is tough - since we had a big vehicle (Ford Expedition) - would probably not be an issue with a smaller vehicle. This is a great home - we enjoyed our stay on the lake!

Spring break

We enjoyed our weekend at the lake. The house had everything we needed. The view was amazing. It was quiet and peaceful. Just what we were looking for. Planning to return when weather is a bit warmer so we can enjoy the lake.
