Deer Brook Lake House is a wonderful property that has just been completely renovated. Expansive lake views and the peace and quiet you’ve been looking for! Whether you want to gather with the family around the large kitchen island for a meal or sit on the back patio and enjoy a cup of coffee while gazing at Shawnee Lake which is a wonderful private lake located in Jamestown. The property is 4 mins from Miami Valley hospital, 16 mins from Cedarville University, and 26 mins from Yellow Springs. (No boat rentals lake is private owners only)

What a fabulous place. I loved watching the baby ducks in the lake right at the dock. The place has such a bright, open feel. The place was so relaxing! I will be renting from this host again!

The house was nice and spacious. Kitchen had everything needed. Me and my sisters had a girls trip here and had plans to swim a bit and paddle board. Unfortunately, we found out you cannot use the lake at all as a guest. So even though it is on the lake you are not able to use it for anything. It’s pretty to look at but that is all. Just something to be aware of since that is not in the description. A little disappointing, but if you are just wanting a great view and a place to sleep it would work just fine.
