Stylish Villa, Kiawah Island, Central LOCATION! Close to Resort Center & Pet Friendly!

This one-bedroom, one-bath recently renovated Mariners Watch villa is only 300 yards from the beach and has great nature and lagoon views off the large screened-in porch.

The unit has been refreshed with fresh paint, and a new master bed with a king size bed. There is a sofa sleeper in the living room, too. The open concept main living room, dining area and kitchen lead to the screened-in porch where you have a table and chairs to dine, relax, and enjoy the lagoon view. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there are two flat screen TV`s (one in the bedroom and one in the living room). The unit has a washer and dryer and wireless internet. It is also pet friendly!

Mariner`s Watch Villas are located in Kiawah`s East Beach, just across the street from Night Heron Park with basketball courts, a soccer field, playground, and Nature Center. The East Beach Tennis Facility is a short distance away as well as the Market at Town Center where you can get a quick bite to eat or a cup of coffee.

Kiawah Island is known for its natural beauty and extensive wildlife. It offers a multitude of family activities; riding bikes on the miles of bike paths, kayaking with dolphins on the river, crabbing and fishing from the dock, walking along the ten mile stretch of sandy beach, combing the shoreline for shells and other treasures, or just simply enjoying the island life. Of course, don't forget the 5 award winning golf courses.

Room had a very musty smell. Like it had not been used in a long time. Was clean otherwise.The living area was primed to be painted. Was not a problem just did not look very good.

Communication was friendly and timely. Location was perfect, 5 minute walk to the beach. Our 2 medium sized pups enjoyed it as well. Especially the screen porch and walks on the beach. It was well equipped with dishes and small appliances. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!

The unit was very nice, however the adjacent unit was under full remodel and the construction noise ruined our stay. The sound of hammering all day kills a what could have been a relaxing Kiawah vacation. If the unit next door is being renovated let the renters know so they can decide if they are ok with the noise or discount the unit because of the inconvenience. I knew walking up there was gonna be an issue when the entire staircase was covered in chalky white construction dusk. Did not enjoy my stay because of the annoying hammering throughout the entire day.

Great Screened In Porch!

The porch with rocking chairs was so wonderful for coffee in the morning and wine at night. Clean place with all the amenities you need for a couple day trip. Would definitely stay there again!!!

Great stay

The condo is quaint and has all one would need. My fiance and I worked remotely multiple days and never any issues with space or wifi. It also has close proximity to the beach!

Perfect getaway

Wonderful weekend stay. Perfect location on Kiawah Island. Home was clean and very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to everyone planning a trip to Charleston. Property management was the best - professional, thorough and available to handle any issues.

Amazing Kiawah beach haven

Perfect for two, this condo in a gated community was well-appointed, clean and cozy. Great location on Kiawah Island, close to the beach, golf, fine dining etc. The screened porch was perfect for relaxing at sundown watching the deer stroll by. We loved our stay here!

Great view and a cozy apartment!

We've stayed at Mariner's Watch before and this is one of the best units we've stayed in. The only negative is the small closet.

Pet Friendly and Exceptionally Clean

This property is perfect for a couple and pup! I have never travelled with our Goldendoodle before and was apprehensive about the cleanliness of a pet friendly property. With all hard surface flooring, it was easy to sweep away any sand our pups paws brought in and he was perfectly happy to sleep on his towel on the floor. Our dog loved the screened porch where he could watch people pass on the nature trail behind the property. The unit has been recently renovated, with a beautiful bathroom and lovely bed linens, and had everything we needed for the week. We would certainly stay here again!

Good little place

Everything was very nice except the fact that my parents that stayed there had to do whole cleaning service responsibilities since that was the list they were sent to do. Overwhelming to say the least.

This property suited the occasion perfectly for the three of us... me, my husband and our small dog! It was clean, very accommodating, comfy bed and living room, nice screened porch with fan & rockers, user-friendly TV's, well-equipped kitchen appliances/tools/pots-n-pans (except salt-n-pepper) and excellent access to the BEACH! It was the 'simplest, most user-friendly' VRBO we've ever experienced... from entry to departure!

Perfect Get-Away

We had a lovely time visiting Kiawah Island! We loved the area the home was in as we could easily access the beach and bike/running path! The townhouse was the perfect size for my husband and me and was well-stocked. Loved the Roku tv in the bedroom. The beach is beautiful and not crowded. We highly recommend this home!

Great week at Kiawah

We had a very nice time at the beach in spite of the hotter-than-usual temps. The property was clean, updated and everything worked. Great communication by the manager so our questions were answered before we had to ask.

Great location on Kiawah

We have been coming to Kiawah for years and this is the first time staying in this unit. Overall we enjoyed the amenities, appreciate the dog friendly nature and proximity to the beach. The bed was comfortable and the rockers on the porch were great for enjoying morning coffee. We would recommend a deep clean to the unit as there was sand on the kitchen chairs, spider webs and the drain was clogged with hair in the bathroom. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Lovely spot but could use some work

Good location, but the property could use touch up for paint, handles, and appliances. Needed a tub stopper, which was supplied upon request, but figured things like this should come standard. Hope they maintain the property!

Close to beach

It is a short walk to beach and pet friendly. We enjoyed having our dog with us. We would stay here again, however it needs some maintenance. The top rack of dishwasher needs repair and lights under kitchen cabinets did not work. The shower is in the jacuzzi tub and quite deep. It would be helpful to have a bar to hold while stepping out of the tub. Kiawah is a wonderful place where we have been visiting for 40 years.

Problems in Paradise

Lots of broken or malfunctioning items: dishwasher, light, garbage disposal. Some pots, pans and utensils dirty. Nice enough and comfortable with wonderful beach access. All the broken items were a drag.

Nice property

Having stayed in other units in the same complex this one compares good in most areas. It was clean, nicely decorated, very close to beach. However the kitchen was not fully equipped. The dishwasher and washer/dryer are old and needs replacing. The tv is too small for the room size in the den. Lastly the door needs a deadbolt for security reasons. The door now is just a door knob that could be easily opened by intruders.

Great little condo

Perfect for our son, daughter-in-law and their small dog to stay for a week while visiting us in Windswept. The condo is clean, stylish and the kitchen is well equipped. A few extra things would make it a perfect 5 star rating. - extra hangers - hooks in the bathroom and hallways for wet towels, jackets, beach bags - at least two luggage racks (there is only one) - extra towel bars in the bathroom for wet towels We provided our kids with extra paper towels, toilet tissue, Kleenex, detergent, dishwasher detergent and garbage bags as Sweetgrass suggested. We also took advantage of Sweetgrass’s offer to arrive at 2pm for an extra $50 and leave at noon for $50. A very nice perk! Overall, a great little condo for a weeks stay in beautiful Kiawah Island.
